    A predicament

    So my sim got engaged to a guy and the trait "hates kids" came up after they tried for a baby and she took a pregnancy test which showed she was eating for two. So she told him and he was furious. Thus a pop up appears saying he hates kids.

    Can she break off the engagement or get engaged and married to someone else? I want them to still try and be friends but I haven't seen a break up button anywhere

      Breaking up will basically destroy their relationship for a while, but you can slowly bring them back to being friends with enough positive friendly interactions.

      You know, even "hates kids" people can be ok parents. I had a father with that trait and he was still nice to HIS kids. He did tend to get stressed around them more than other Sims, of course, but you don't HAVE to throw out the dad, if you don't want to. Just might have to work with him a bit more to keep him happy.

      I have a sim married to a sim who hates children. Thus, he keeps getting her pregnant and I keep giving the kids traits completely opposite to hers to justify her reasons for hating them. >:)
      Dissatisfied with Sims 4 and hoping for a better Sims 5
