Hello fellow Simmers! I haven't been very involved yet in the Sims 4 community and forums - not much time with a toddler in the house, plus I'm still fond of TS3! However, I did get 4 a while ago and am enjoying it! I finally decided to try building. I'm finding it both better and worse, easier and harder than 3. I miss CASt, but at the same time the game loads and plays SO much better and I find I actually play more since I'm not so obsessed with all the CASt details. I DO wish there were more color options, or at least more matching/coordinating options between objects. I also wish there were more wall and flooring options. But, I suppose that will all come in time. It's very hard to be stuck with a base game again as a builder! :p

So, here is my TS4 Studio thread. I may or may not update my TS3 thread at some point; I may even continue to build and share for 3. Hope you all enjoy my builds and find them useful and fun in your own game!

You can find me in the gallery in game by my Origin ID (Bouquetcatcher) or #bouquet. Or in the web-based gallery here. All my work is CC Free!

So, here is my first build. I have to relearn posting pics apparently, lol.

    The Tipperary
    Origin ID: Bouquetcatcher

Based on a Donald A. Gardner design, The Tipperary, here is my version! Find it in the gallery in game by its name or my name or #bouquet. Or web-based gallery here.

This beautiful home is part vintage, part modern with a bit of eclectic thrown in. This is a 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath family home with lots of extras. Gourmet kitchen, pantry, formal dining, study/library, formal living, master bedroom with walk-in closets and ensuite bath, 2 bedrooms with shared bath (split for privacy), and large bonus room. There is also a mud room, laundry room and garage which in base game are relatively useless but hopefully will find use in future expansions! For now, the garage could be a workshop or anything else you desire. Outside is a large deck, playground and garden space (unplanted), and plenty of room for a pool. When basements are available expansion is easy - just remove one staircase and replace it with one to the basement.

You can see all pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/bouquetcatcher/sets/72157651022234977/with/16698950009/

The Tipperary is amazing. Love the layout of your rooms.

It's great to see a builder that doesn't overuse CC or MOO.

Thank you so much! I do sometimes go a little overboard on MOO, but it's a little temperamental in 4 so I try not to do TOO much. Mostly I use it to put decor on shelves where I want it - nothing that would be game changing for another player lol. And I really don't like CC, haven't used it since 2. I'm tempted again in 4 since we lost CASt and since it's tough to go back to base game lol, but it tends to overload a game plus it can be so risky, and hard to manage (imo). So, I'll just be patient and wait for more content to come out! :D

Very nice house! Love the landscaping, it fits perfectly in Willow Creek. The bathroom is very nice, very creative using windows to make the shower cabin look bigger. And love the oval kitchen island. Very well done! MOOing is fun :D Allthough in TS4 it sometimes acts up, I think I had to place some objects at least twice to get it to stay the way I wanted to. Looking forward to seeing your next build

    Fresh Start Cottage
    Origin ID: Bouquetcatcher

    All pics here .

Built for BuildnShare challenge #16, this is a lovely 2 bed, 2 bath cottage in which Henry and Evie can start afresh after losing their parents. So much country charm is built into this English-style cottage. Architectural details abound! Money is tight for these sibs after losing their parents, but we've made it go far. Furnishings are simple and minimalistic but beautifully done. There is plenty of room to expand and add their own personal things, but Henry and Evie will love the design, color and touches of hominess. Henry's workshop is currently a simple, small room off his bedroom - but he could easily build a shop out back someday, or dig a basement or even add on to the house! They could even use that workspace to add another bath upstairs for Evie as she gets older. They'll have lots of room for upgrades in the years to come.

(I do plan to do an "upgraded" version of this build very soon - so many things I wanted to do but couldn't due to budget!)

I also really love the last one, it's really beautifully made. It also keeps that homey feel.

Wow! I think what appeals to me the most about your latest build is the use of the plaster wallpaper on the outside! I never thought to try that but it gives the home some much more character and weathering!
