Sims 4 opens but minimized and not responding

every time i try to load up my sims it loads but doesnt load as a full screen. it just stays in the corner as minimized not responding and wont maximise, ive uninstalled it like 3 times and done the same with origin but nothing is working! please help

I have the same issue with TS2 and 3, so I know how you feel. I can't even exit it to browse the forums or something.

Having the exact same problem with TS2 Ultimate Collection and TS4. TS3 launcher starts but I haven't tried launching the main game yet. I'm thinking it has something to do with the latest Origin update (03/25/15).

Ok. Now when I try to launch Origin, it says there's an update error and I need to download it again from the website...

I open my game, the EA logo comes up, then the Sims one. Then the game stops responding for a couple of seconds, and then it goes into a tiny window which is just the minimize, expand and close window options with the sims logo squashed next to them. I have fixed the game in Origin, restarted my computer, Origin and the game multiple times. HELP!!!

Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go,to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.

Okay so I have done all this and my game works successfully but the only thing is none of my mods show up and its really poor quality, what should I do?

Hello @sims9311
There is a feature that when there is a game update, mods/cc are disabled. This link explains about it,

Go to game options and tick the " enable custom content and mods" button which is found in :
Game Options | Other | Enable Custom Content and Mods. Also tick the script mods allowed button.
Exit the game. Then go back into the game again and see if the cc /mods appear then.
