    Pre-ordering & credit card charge

    I want to pre-order the sims 4 get to work off origin, does it charge my credit card right away? or once the game comes out?
    I've never done a pre-order online before so I don't know how it works. Just wondering :)

      With a credit card no you wont be charged until release day but if you use a debit card (personal bank account) yes you will be charged straight away. I was talking to a representative about this on origin the other day. They often take 1 pound out to verify the card details when you pre order so if that pops up on your bank statement it is normal and does get refunded back to you.
