Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. On the top floor there is a back wall section that I can't paint the inside and outside different. Forces me to paint the inside section the same as the outside. Maybe theres a trick I don't know about
I have a little issue, I have been looking in the wrong place for the lot value. I need to make a couple of changes and then I will post the amended slide show. Also I made the lot Generic, and apparently that lot type does not work properly so I have also changed it to lounge.

can you maybe just paint one wall section at a time instead of selecting shift when painting wall?? I don't know if it will work cause I have not started challenge #12 yet. I have just completed challenge #11.
@Issabella14 Nope I thought of that too. For some reason its acting like its connected to the roof. The top part where the small window is also changes when I paint the inside or the out. When I try to paint single tiles it still paints just that section but both sides. I could get passed it if it just didn't paint both sides.
@adniram00 The wall covering thing, its because of the roof. If you take the roof off, it's fine, you can paint it however you like. But if the roof is there, they have to be the same colour. I put a mirror over it, and it went back to the wall covering of the rest of the room, and the exterior stayed the same, so that's what I'm gonna do
Sorry guys! I've uploaded a fixed version. I did not paint the shell so didn't catch the weirdness with the back wall. I'm 90% sure I've made that same roof in Sims 3 with no problem
@adniram00@roni1029 For those who have already started decorating - the fix is easy. Just delete the existing long A-frame section. When you build it back, only extend it long enough to tie into (no gaps) the parallel A-frame section on the back of the house. Then go up to the 2nd floor and add a smaller a-frame section on the back of the house perpendicular to the one that is there. It will look like the large section carries all the way through to the back, but it doesn't.
@BuildnShare I believe you about it not being that way in Sims 3. I've never seen this happen before. Thanks for the fix!!! It drove me bonkers at first. Took me a good hour to figure out I was painting both sides lol. Thanks again and to you also @roni1029 I may or may not need a roof lesson to make it look the same. Edited because tablet didnt show me the lesson >:(

The issue is with the roof. If you delete the roof, it's fine. But if it's there, the walls have to be the same. Argh, this is stressing me out!

Hi @roni1029, if it is on added walls then yes, but not on the original structure
