Not really a discussion thread for The Sims 4 but I was wondering how many and what are the Sims games you own.

For me, it's quite a collection.

The Sims: Deluxe Edition
The Sims: House Party
The Sims: Hot Date
The Sims: Vacation
The Sims: Unleashed
The Sims: Superstar
The Sims: Makin' Magic

The Sims 2
The Sims 2: University
The Sims 2: Nightlife
The Sims 2: Open for Business
The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff
The Sims 2: Glamour Life Stuff
The Sims 2: Seasons
The Sims 2: Celebration Stuff
The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff
The Sims 2: Bon Voyage
The Sims 2: Teen Style Stuff
The Sims 2: FreeTime
The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff
The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff
The Sims 2: Apartment Life
The Sims 2: Mansion & Garden Stuff

(I'm only missing Happy Holiday Stuff and Pets :disappointed:)

The Sims 3
The Sims 3: World Adventures
The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff
The Sims 3: Ambitions
The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff
The Sims 3: Generations
The Sims 3: Town Life Stuff
The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff
The Sims 3: Showtime
The Sims 3: Supernatural
The Sims 3: Seasons

(I only buy physical copies which are still expensive at the store so that's why I have a shortage of The Sims 3 games)

The Sims 4

I also own The Sims (console) which is currently somewhere in our attic, SimCity 2000 (brought off Origin for free) and SimCity 4 which my sister gave to me.

It's a long list featuring 38 games (I could be wrong since I'm bad at counting :p) and I expect a lot more people with long lists as well so come along and share what Sims games you own and play.
My name is Joseph, please don't call me Joe or Joey.

Yours sincerely, Joseph :)

Sims 3 -- everything except the KPST stuff pack. And when I say everything, I'm including the whole store.

    Sims 4, base game only.

Edit: Oh, and I own the Sims 2 digital deluxe, but I have barely played it.

    TS1 all
    TS2 all
TS3 BG (Before on a different account: TS3 + Showtime and World Adventures)
    TS4 BG

I also just bought Sim City 4 on Black Friday, solely for the purpose of terrain creation and modification in TS2, so I'll count that as part of my Sim collection.

The Sims 2 - Base game, All EPs, Holiday Pack, all pre-order content. Also downloaded the Ultimate version while it was free.
The Sims 3 - Base game, All EPs, All SPs, about 98% of the store, most of the pre-order items.

Other Sims related games I own (and even still play a couple of):

    Sim City 3000.
Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition, Sim City Rush Hour, Transportation Pack special order content.
Sim Copter (Collector's Edition with Aviator glasses, still in box)
    Sim Tower
    Sim Farm

Yes, I've given a lot of money to Maxis/EA over the years :D

I feel like you were definitely EA's target audience. You really had no experience with the great previous Sims games in the main series, thus you had nothing to compare Sims 4 to. Add on top of that you have played the mobile game, EA would praise the heavens if everyone only had the Sims exposure you have had.

You should try out the other Sims games, they are fantastic and I think you would enjoy them, especially Sims 2!

I don't know. I've owned many. I've lost many. Scratched, misplaced.
Then the obsolete like TSO, I owned it at one point in time if that counts.
Most of it, I have owned.
    But I think...
I think I already have all that I ever will.

I could but looking at it I don't really like the graphics. I know it was a different time of animation for the Sims, but I prefer the way it is now. there is a reason I skipped the first two games and the graphics quality of the sims was that reason. I wanted to get into the sims 3 but yeah i had to uninstall. When I came back around to buying it myself I heard the Sims 4 was coming so I decided to wait. and here i am.

It's who I am, I'm interested in graphic detail, I can agree the Sims 4 could use more detail. Maybe it's for the best, I don't want the burdened and have my heart filled with rage like others have here against the Sims 4. I'm willing start fresh.

Man you are missing out on so much. Sims 2 sims has the best animations of the entire series, none of the games since then have surpasses them.

The Sims: All. Haven't played since TS2 came out though.

Sims 2: I bought everything but Pets (Unleashed for TS1 kind of put me off having animals in the game forever) and the holiday pack, though I now have both thanks to the UC.

Sims 3: Starter pack (base game + late night + HELS), Ambitions, WA, Supernatural, University, Generations, Seasons. One of the SPs was given away free but I never installed it because I didn't care about it. And I uninstalled Seasons because I didn't like it ( blasphemy, I know!). I only played TS3 for a few months, in anticipation of TS4 coming out. But...

Sims 4: None. Haven't seen anything to make me think this will be better than TS2. So I went back to that game. :)

The Sims 1 All EPs - Playing it occasionally, still tons of fun and a classic.
The Sims 2 All EPs/SPs - Playing it often, the gem of the franchise.
The Sims 3 All EPs/SPs - Playing it most of the time, my favorite specially after years of tweaking and overhauling it.
The Sims 4 - Played 34 hours. The end.
The Sims Medieval - Played it quite a bit, was a nice spin-off but the charm wore off rather quickly.

All of them currently installed except for Medieval.
