I'd go with the MSI myself, it has dedicated memory for the Video Card and that's good for Sims 3 an 4. Really both are good, I'd pick whatever one you like best.

    Hello,

I would've gone for the MSI if it didn't have an AMD processor - the Intel processor in the HP is much stronger than the AMD processor in the MSI. I also think that both an AMD processor and a higher-end AMD graphics card will result in the MSI laptop getting pretty hot.

The MSI has much better specs if it hadn't been for the AMD processor, which makes the decision more difficult. What is your budget, and where are you purchasing these laptops from?

I hope this helps and keep simming,

    Ask me about custom-built PCs!

Need to upgrade? - $400 for high settings in Sims 4 --> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LtphdC
