Wow its hard to believe this thread has created so much feedback and chatter. Its nice to see everybody has been rather civil and polite barring a few moments.
I hope if anything though, I was able to impart some knowledge about game development too!
Thats its not as simply or as straight forward as even EA/Maxis PR vetted posts would make you believe (when is anything ever?) lol
What I have learnt is that using telemetry to create a game isn't a good idea.
All you gave was misinformation that several people pointed out it did not stand to scrutiny. No need for the humble brag.
So your still looking for that lunch date huh?
No. For you to stop blaming US for no toddlers, stop with your hearsay non-sense, educate yourself on what really happened during TS4's development and the whole project Olympus debacle, and stop using the oldest self-aggrandising trick in the internet to claim you have "inside intel". Or, at least, next time, cobble up a story that actually makes sense. Yours didn't and, not just me, but several people here pointed out, in detail, why.

Honestly, I was even more disappointed in EA. They should have looked at more factors, such as: they didn't make Sims 3 toddlers awesome as Sims 2 toddlers.

This is also true. I didn't remember how awesome the toddlers in Sims 2 were (I don't have the game anymore so it's been a LONG time since I've played it rather than Sims 3), but watching a video on this thread reminded me. I miss them getting into trouble and playing in the toilet like real toddlers do, rather than just sitting around crying and/or picking their nose. It would be amazing if EA released toddlers that were a good combination of S2 & S3, or even more advanced.

Hah, that may as well be one of our home movies. I used to eat dog food all the time as a kid. (My parents were horrified when I did it at a family gathering...)

Oh tea all the way darling
My interests include long walks on the beach reading romance novels and cooking
They should be looking at it more along the lines of what do they need to do better, and have some common sense with it.
Toddler stage in TS3 was a short ride before you maxed them out and had no reason to hold them there anymore.
That alone would be the determining factor of why the toddler stage wasn't played as much.
It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure that out.
Very true. I like that.
