I mean, we have décor ones, like the train in Oasis Spring and the airplanes in Willow Creek, but I mean which useful public transport would you like in the game?
Personally, I would love my sims to take the train or the subway, and also being able to see your sims inside a plain whenever a World Adventures EP is created, which one would you like most to see?
The only one I can think of is the subway in the Late Night Ep...with the chance of being robbed :scream:
I'd like to see this, not rabbithole transit systems, but real transports where you can interact andd meet other sims:
Buses
Trolleybuses
Trams and trains
Metro/subways/undergrounds
Ferries
Airlines
Coaches and intercity rail

duh metro subways as well as cars.
Do you mean a parking lot, that would be awesome and we could pay a fee to park outside the shopping mall, if we ever get a shopping mall.
No. I meant if they designed the vehicles like actual lots. You get a load screen and that "lot" is your bus, trolley, train, plane, etc. An interim lot for going to work (or wherever)....kinda thing.
Otherwise, with the game engine, I don't see how it's possible.
Wow how creative of you why don't you work for EA
The problem is, is that it would add more load screens. One to get on the bus, and one to get off the bus to then load your original destination. Most people are wishing to avoid more load screens, not add them. I'm just saying that's the only way I see it possible to be in or on whatever mode of transport the op wishes for.
Just being logical.
I did not mean this specific idea, but you were able to find a way to ad vehicles without removing loading screens. Do you understand what I am trying to say?

I agree, that would be great :)
I'm not a game coder. I get what you are saying, but I have no idea of what they can, and can't do, with the engine they have. I just can't see how a sim could get on the trolley/bus at their house, use it and interact with others on it, while traveling to the next destination without it being it's own loaded "lot".
That's it I guess. For now anyway. There will probably be an expansion that will add vactions with boats etc. I think I saw some concept art a long time ago for a big cruise ship so who knows. Would be nice to be able to own a boathouse.

I would love a Vacation EP like that  :
I agree -- if they maybe waited on a platform then disappeared into the trolley car or steamboat, it would be easy to imagine that they're commuting to their job in the city when they disappear from view. For neighborhoods that don't have the trolley or steamboat, maybe Sims could walk to the corner and get a bus.
Fun must be always -- Tomas Hertl (San Jose Sharks hockey player)
I want a train station, barbie had one!!
A stakeout van with video monitors, so you can spy inside Sims homes. Would be good for storytelling.
