I miss apartment living and all the different venue types, I'd definitely like to see these come back as well as the fame star system. Vampires however I definitely don't miss!
Personally, vampires were one of my most favorite things about the sims, but I think if they were to be done again, I would like ea to move away from the sims 3 model. I like that they could run faster and read minds. But they felt too twilight-esque to me. I think, going back to the sims 2 vampires is a better idea. For one, they were immortal, which made for interesting game play, and if they went in the sun for even a few seconds they would literally die! I liked that part of the vampires because it added a whole new challenge, and they would actually stay in their coffin until night time! In sims 3 my vampires can just whip out an umbrella, or even just go out in the sun with nothing at all, the effects are honestly very minor and I find it lame. I think a combination of the two would probably prove best. Ability to feed on sims, can run faster, can read minds, maybe like a hypnotising interaction that makes it easier to feed temporarily without having to befriend them, death by sunlight, and red eyes! None of that sparkly nonsense, vampires are supposed to be scary!

Firefox, I totally agree. The vampires in Sims 3 were kind of lame. I hope if there's a return of vampires in Sims 4 that they are done better. I mean who's ever heard of sparkly vampires? There were none before "Twilight".
I'm saying the same thing for sorcerers, I'd love to do an escapade around a downtown casting spells. but as a modern day teen, I want to believe the magic is in the sim, not the cheap stick or the objects. Growing up I have never seen a sorcerer use a wand, or fly on a broomstick everywhere they go. I don't agree with sparking vampires, but I do enjoy the new outlook on mythical and magical creatures Teen Wolf's Werewolves, Once Upon A Time's Sorcerer's, Fairies, Ghosts, Werewolves, the basic idea on how magic works. Merlin the TV show. I think The Sims team should take a look at these types of shows, and try to make it so the players can to the entire array of supernaturals. some player out there should be able to create a vampire that's goth, the darkest twisted soul ever, and I should be able to create a vampire who loves to go tanning, and cheerful and lovable as ever and then turn around and suck your blood.
Late Night was one of my favourite eps next to seasons and supernatural, although this time around I hope if they do give us LN then they include pool tables with that and not repeat the overall showtime experience. Showtime did have quite alot of nice clothes and objects though...
Sure hope elevator woohoo comes back, it was especially funny when they got tossed out and did the walk of shame LOL
