Thank you very much @rosemow, @KarilynMonroe2, @yanti68, @bekkasan, @Morakai. I'm tickled pink to see more visitors here and glad it's helping you get into Christmas spirit. I also have to confess my village is in storage too... just gets so much more busy at this time of the year. I have a friend that starts months in advance and has such a large collection it takes several tables to display the pieces.

Yanti, it was this build that pushed me over the edge to purchase Sims 4 at the Black Friday sale. I saw in a thread that someone made a church as a room that could be plucked out from the lot. I loved that idea. Think of it... a bunch of room 'houses' that people can download and move around just like the real thing to make their personalized version of a digital Christmas village.

Since there are only a couple of weeks until Christmas and I wouldn't have any time to even play with Sims 4 until the holidays to get used to the build tools, I'm thinking for this to be completed this season, it might be a great Sims 4 Build-and-share project if someone wants to administer it. They could use the D-I-c-k-e-n-s village pieces photos (lots online) and have folks choose to do one or more rooms. Then there would be lots of little houses to choose from and not as much pressure on just one creator. Perhaps someone may be game to host this for Sims 4 if they think timing is doable :D

It is great that you have finished and uploaded Victorian Village Festival :) It is a very nice place for sims to enjoy visiting and do the different activities there and visit the different stores. It looks very nice covered in snow in the Wintertime, and the orange trees look very nice in Autumn time. The seasonal pictures of it are very nice! Sims will enjoy seeing new things and doing different activities depending on the season. They will have fun visiting it all year round! It is a very nice build! :)
I hope that you have a very nice Christmas too. :)

I'm downloading now and have rec'd it. It is tempting to call in so I can put this in my game and let my sims loose in your creation. Sigh....I will just have to wait til this evening. Thanks so much for such a beautiful lot to add to our games. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Thank you very much @rosemow, @Idontrcall and @bekkasan. It was fun to build but I was glad to finally get it done too. Hopefully the lot is working well for those who downloaded. Am so enjoying my holidays and having downtime to chill with family. Opened the Sims4 a couple of times to try it out but just didn't have the incentive to do much. Am thinking my days of playing the Sims are coming to an end. I find myself at the computer way too much when so many other things beckon. Anyway, am just popping in here to thank and wish you and everyone else that may visit but not post in this thread a happy and wonderful 2015!

@soocoolsim‌ I absolutely LOVE this Village you have created ... but I'm sad to say that for some reason I am unable to place it in my game. For some reason, when I try to place it, it just sits at the processing screen for well over an hour. Which makes me horribly sad because it is the perfect place for pictures, engagements and weddings. I'm upgrading the ram in my desktop and I will try again to place it once it arrives and is installed, so cross your fingers for me that it works.

You did an absolutely beautiful job with the entire lot ... I've been trying to place it in Monte Vista ... but I was wondering which world you built it in? Perhaps that might be part of my problem. (If I missed that particular tidbit I apologize)

@SimpLyAngeLic‌ I'm so very sorry to hear you couldn't place my lot. It does have a lot of stuff so together with the large lot size and Seasons options it is a pretty big file. I really do appreciate hearing that do want to use it so if you like, what I can do is convert it to a regular park lot and remove most the items. I can upload this stripped version without the custom pictures which should make the file even smaller. It will have the building shells and landscaping and you can add back in whatever objects you like as your computer can handle. Would you like me to try this to see if it works for you?

I've never played in Monte Vista... placed it at 37 Verona Way and it looks great there behind the existing community lot. You need to change the empty lot from residential to park first before placing. Do you want to try that to see if it works for you? If it still doesn't work, let me know if you'll like me to upload the shell :)

@rosemow, @gypsy54 and @MeaganJo, thank you so much for your support. Wishing you a great week ahead :D

OMG! @soocoolsim That looks awesome on that site. My sims are gonna have to move to MV next! Well, I still have to decide between that and LL as I also downloaded your rocket coaster lot. LOL Too many choices!! I had already placed things on the few big lots in AP where they are currently living so have not been able to put your lot in that world. You are also awesome to offer to strip down the lot for @SimpLyAngeLic so she can use it. So looking forward to your future builds so I can have more choices!!

@soocoolsim That would be wonderful ... I'm thinking it is my computer, because I tried to put it in that exact lot .. and changed the lot type to festival ... perhaps I should try it as just a park ... but I would love the smaller file if you wouldn't mind doing that for me! It just looks perfect in the winter with the snow and everything, it's the perfect place for engagement photos.

@SimpLyAngeLic‌, OK... I converted it to a regular park, got rid of the seasonal options and rotating décor and added in a chess area to fill in the resulting empty outdoor area. The file has been reduced from 11.4 MB in the original version to 7.8 MB. It will get back a little larger with cusom photos but I'll keep them as small as I can. Solid day today so I may not wrap this up until later in the week but next stage is to delete the items from inside each of the shops to reduce the file size further and upload both versions - (a) regular "Park" including furnished buildings and (b) "Shell" only so you have more options.

Do you have the gondola set? If not, I can remove it from the shell version and just make cobblestone streets instead. Let me know :D

Preview of the new chess area for the "Park" version (this area was used in the Festival version for rotating the larger seasonal activities). You can later remove the chess items and add back in other activities as you wish....

I really love in Monte Vista how the lot seems to blend into the sea at different angles - great idea of yours. Another shot...

@bekkasan, you are so sweet :D Glad you liked my Rocket Coaster as well. Very different than my usual style but was such fun building it. I always smile seeing the sims go round and round and round the rocket on the coaster. It makes me very happy when folks enjoy my lots and I love building for others so requests are a pleasure. My main constraint is time, lol.

@soocoolsim Please no rush .... my ram will be here any day now. Hopefully that's the problem ... but I really appreciate the time you are taking to modify this for me ... you rock! I do have the gondola set, that's part of what attracted me to this lot in the first place. I'm not much for the activities in the seasons ... it's more the decor that I love. I love the Monte Vista world ... it's such a beautiful setting. It calls to the Italian in my blood. Even in the other seasons it looks gorgeous .. you truly are a talented builder!

Here you go @SimpLyAngeLic... new choices for you. Hope one of them works.

The PARK version has furnished buildings and a new outdoor chess activity area...

The SHELL version is the smallest file and has unfurnished interiors for most buildings. Left the exterior items to keep the integrity of the landscaping. Also left the church furnished since folks may also want to use the interior for wedding pics and it also includes the MOO pipe organ.

The original full-blown FESTIVAL version is also still available for anyone who wishes to have the rotating seasonal décor and activities.

As usual, none of the files contain CC or CAP and were Custard checked :D
