The Best of Times...

So, I've recently been indulging myself in TS2 and I couldn't help but realize how much I missed specific things in the game play. For example, why can't we order freakin' Chinese food?

My question to you guys, though, is this: What things from the earlier Sims games do you think should have been included in the more recent game?

I think this sums it up for almost everyone. The gameplay and interactions of Sims 2, but the open world(fixed and improved) and CAST of Sims 3.

    Hi :)

    I'm enjoying TS2, too.

To be honest, Chinese food came with the first expansion- University, so we'll have to wait for one to see what it adds.

TS2 does have grocery stores and clothes stores and the ability to make them in the base game that I miss. I miss making malls and better places. and better Reasons for my Sims to leave their home lot. :)
Plus, I've always made my own neighborhoods in TS2 & TS3 games (after WA)- I miss that. :)

Oh, yes. I want the attraction system back. It really added so much to the game. I'd even like to see the 🐸🐸🐸🐸 match-maker brought back. She was a lot of fun. One of the couples she matched up even got married.

I remember falling inlove with Sims 3 because you can explore the world. My Sim was always out of town exploring and socializing. Now, my Sims are always stuck at home forced to wait for their neighbors to visit to get some interaction.

Sigh, also the maps were much more bigger and vibrant.

Yeah the possibility to create your own world is completely gone in the Sims 4, i mean we have only restricted few Lots to build on, this is more Sims 1 than Sims 2 or 3. Well i posted enough already i can't really play the Sims 4 now.

I really missed how apartments and vacations were set up in TS2. I like the WA approach for the goals and stuff, but I really miss being able to choose a hotel or vacation home to stay at. I also missed having neighbors shacked up in the same apartment building. It was these little things that made me dislike a lot of TS3 content.
