now is about the "qualiity of the things which we can make and some traits related to this.
well currently we have basically

good
excellent for food and mechanic things
master piece for books and paints
we also have for fruits more 4 or 5 qualitys
we have as traits:

well currently i feel the system is a little unfair for people who wants to stand out among other people in their area:

ok when look to both sims, their are completly different sims, who theoretically where supposed to make food with different quality, not just because richard have 10 of culinary he must make the same sort of food who paul can, that is when my idea come.

can only make objects up to excellent, sims with these traits or incomplete aspirations have a chance to make things up to magnificent, peoples with both(trait and aspiration) can make things up to perfect, in order to make master piece you also need to complete the aspiration, the traits bonus from that aspirations also give you a bonus: the start traits bonus give +5 while the reward trait give you a +10 in the chance to make better things

Muser; Gregarious; Essence of Flavor; Quick Learner.
reward traits:
Hilarious; Handy; Potion Master; Fresh Chef; Expressionistic; Piper; Poetic;
the base chance to make better things(from excellent to magnificent; from magnificent to perfect; from perfect to masterpiece) could be 20%, and is increased by that emotions:

also being in the right mood( inspired, focused, playful, confident and happy) give +5 or +10 if a great, careers(culinary, entertainer, painter and writer) give +5(advance to the next branch stage give +5 to a total of +10 and creative visionary give +20, give a extra chance to make better things then let's go to paul and richard:

richard can only make up to excellent food, while paul can make up to perfect food with a big chance of make a master piece.
foods quality beyond excellent give a extra +1 happines for each level to a total +4 in master piece, for the others things keep increase their normal bonus and price, a food made by paul and using perfect ingredients( from gardening) can give up to you a total of +10 happiness and make your hunger decay more slow.
this can make some traits looks more interesting in some skills or less useless a good exemple is Essence of Flavor he is good at the beginner but useless later when at 10 of culinary or gourmet you can make any food excellent, with this this trait still good and can help you make the best of the best food in the world.

then paul have 95% of make a master piece food, if him use perfect fruits this rise to 100%, then paul can really be the great chief.
