Here are some of my ideas for cars and other vehicles as future content for The Sims 4:
- New trait: Vehicle Enthusiast. This was rather rushed trait in TS3 (it came with the Fast Lane Stuff patch), since they didn't include new animations for Sims. Now I would love a new feature like this: If a Sim who loves vehicles gets a new car (her/his friend could gift it to her/him), Sim will get very happy and pleasantly surprised. Also bring back the ability to name your vehicles like in The Sims 3. It was fun, at least to me, in that game.
- Gas stations could be awesome. They could be made as a basic feature to a new world ( City-type), similar to the open fishing spots and other open areas in the neighborhoods. I mean,
no Gas Station Lot, put them to the new worlds/already-existing worlds too if possible. Also tanking animations (your Sim fills the car's tank with gasoline etc.)
- Car races. The better your Sim's car is, the easier he/she can win the race. There could be speed races, and sports cars made for those.
- Bicycles for children and adults. Something could be made for elders and teens in mind too.
- Motor cycles.
- Skate boards with customizable parts (SimGurus, yes, I read the March 2014 Sims 4 survey and it mentioned these!)
- And the most important feature of them all:
cars and other vehicles with animations, similar to The Sims 2. I would love to make a story in my blog where a Sim comes out of the car by opening and closing the car's door.
These are only ideas, so it isn't 100% sure that we would get all these features. Thank you for reading my post!

I'd like to see:
- Car Repair/upgrades
- Washing cars! Man, I loved doing that when I was a kid.
- Making out in back seats
- Drive-in movies and drive-in diners (loved those as a kid too, with that little tray that went in the window)
- Motorcycle sidecars!
- Bike and skateboard parks, with jumps and stuff
i mean, what would cars change? sims would sit in the car and drive off and we would hit a loading screen after 3 seconds. and we already have the quick travel menu.
i understand the cars concept (which was very poorly executed btw) in the sims 3 because the world was open and it actually changed the way your sims would get from one place to another, but now.... nah.
that said i rather see the developers putting the resources towards other innovative things which would actually benefit the game.
sorry about my english, it's not my first language and i'm writing this on my phone.
TINY HOUSE CHALLENGE

Modeling Career?
The Sims 2 was proof that cars worked well even with loading screens.
I want to see
Car interactions
-Getting in and out!
-Putting on seatbelts
-Winding down windows
-Washing the car
-Fixing the car
-Listening to music in the car
-Woohoo in the car
-Alarms
-Park in garage
-Open sun roof (depending on how fancy the car is)
-Windscreen wipers for when we get Seasons and it's snowing or raining.
-Scaping frost off the car if it's left outside in winter
Those are just some things that spring to mind. I could probably think of more.
Since we're getting OFB a car dealership or mechanic business would be great. I also hope we can put babies and toddlers (when they arrive) in the car and take them to community lots.
Outside of cars, bikes would also be fun.
I loved repairing/restoring old cars in Sims 2. My sims made a lot of money that way. I'd like to see that make a come-up. Even more, once a sim sold the car, I'd like to see somebody driving it around town. I don't like things that simply disappear.
This!
Sigh, if only we have a big open world, I don't care if all lots have to be loaded via loading screens. A car would have been nice to have.
