Singers

When we get the singing career back, can it be combined with band members? All good bands have front men/women as lead singers.

I'd also like if the microphone can be used to help with the skill.

I would love it if our Sims could sing together in a choir! (I think i started a discussion about this, but can't remember where I posted it! Lol)

And I agree that the microphone could be used to build a singing skill :)

To be honest, I just want a barber shop quartet - to sing in one of the open spaces we have! ;)

Or to sing to a couple on a romantic date in a restaurant! There's so many things they can do. I just don't know how much of it is possible. lol

Yeah, they should make it so a Sim playing the violin and a Sim playing the guitar can go around playing for people for tips. They could do this in restaurants, parks, pretty much everywhere.

Exactly! How special would it be for a violinist to come over to the happy couple celebrating their anniversary with dinner?

Yep. Back up singer could be part of the progression to lead.

I like this alot! It's a bit out there, but as an alternative career track what about opera singer?

Maybe that would be part of a split for solo or group?

Yeah, opera singers - at least the famous ones tend to be soloists, the rank and file are in the chorus. And I can see a weight requirement rearing it's ugly head - Pavarotti wasn't exactly svelte! But what a voice!

I don't want to get that detailed as to requirements for stages. lol

Everyone has ideas as to where a 'solo' singer night go. lady gaga? opera? I think it would be too difficult to direct that. And that's not what I mean.

Just give me the option to front a band as a singer.

I love her. I love most female vocals that front bands.

All I mean is that bands aren't really bands without their front man.

No Doubt wouldn't have been anything without Gwen Stephani.

    @ KevWalker I love Adele.

I don't know her current stuff, but all I needed was her original.

    That sums up her awesomeness.

You remind me of my huge disappointment when I found out the bands in Late Night didn't have a singer and Showtime's singers didn't have a band. I just never understood. So yeah, I certainly support this idea.

Front men/women need to have something special to get to the top.

A whackload of charisma along with showmanship. I don't care how they do it, so long as they do it. Not everyone can front successfully.
