Seasons or Nightlife/Late Night because both provide so many activities for our sims to do. I'm not sure why I'm even replying to this because I know I won't be buying any expansion unless they really come down in price. Anyway, those are the two I think offer the most.
Anything that adds to realistic or family based gameplay. Ideally a generations style EP with toddlers, but I'd also enjoy Pets or a Nightlife type expansion with more venues and apartments.
As much as I liked *Some* of the past Sims EP's..I do hope EA tries to add a few things we've never seen before.

If it was me then I would probably pick a Back To School expansion. One where you get schools, University and College. I think that sort of expansion pack would be really fun <br />

It's obvious that eps like seasons and pets will get added because of their popularity, but eps like nightlife/showtime are pretty redundant and could/should be added together. (otherwise it's just nickel and diming)
Bon Voyage type of vacation. It would be nice it they did it like TS2 University where you could play as the vacationing family or play with the family members that are at home, because life doesn't stand still when a family member goes on their honeymoon.
Since Seasons and pets affect object changes on alot of things, why not introduce them together.. Doesn't mean they have to give everything at once, just some of the seasons and some of the pets and then layer the depth of it later on with the next expansions.. IE.. a farming one could have even more in-depth of fall and another dimension of animals.. And University could add some more dimensions of fall and spring and another type of animals to love..
After all Sims 4 is about emotions and multitasking why not multitask the expansions and do some combos so that we don't have to wait so long and some of the prework could be done for additional add ins..
Yes! Toddlers is a must have when it comes to Sims, I was shocked when I found out that toddlers weren't in the base game. I mean why have baby's but not toddlers?
