@ReesesPiecesNo1 How did you get that counter piece? (on the right side above the couch) I've been looking for it but just can't find it when turning auto-counters off

I think it's the end pieces for that counter style, but I'm not sure.

That counter is the left and right end piece of one of the more modern looking counters.
It looks very nice how you have done the shelves alcoves in the living room! @datkid It gives a great look to the room, and creates a nice feature area. The stove alcove in the kitchen looks very nice! It looks great how you have used the columns and spandrels there, and the placement of the cabinets and the tiling of the walls looks nice. It looks great how you have placed the cabinets above the fridge.
You can make your own rugs with the carpet tiles! You just need to switch CTRL+F until you get the quarter tile effect, and then you can design your own! I'm pretty sure it doesn't catch fire as easily, either, so that's a plus. I've done this a lot recently since I saw it somewhere else... Can't quite remember where!
All of these tips are AMAZINGGGGG! The only tip I have found and always use is to build a wall next to your toilet ( make sure to leave enough space for your sim to use it of course). You can also use the premade space taker upper walls in misc decoration category. This ensures your Sims privacy, and usually keeps them from getting the embarrassed emotion because even if walked in on, the other sim sees nothing. Hope its helpful and not obvious, lol. HAPPY SIMMING!
I don't know if anyone has talked about this, but when I'm sick of using so many pictures, I pick one that I can change the color or style of and I put them all next together. Unfortunately, I can't show you guys a picture. But, just imagine the picture "supersymmetry" with all 3 different colors lined up. It doesn't have to be in a row. But it adds some flair to blank walls.
I'm not sure if this is an obvious idea or not, but I use the outdoor tables as end tables inside my homes (next to chairs/couches) just because they are shorter and fit in better with most couches. Fills space and makes rooms look less bland. Hope I helped. :) Thanks for the amazing ideas!

I use a lot of these tips in my builds!
Also using the foundation tool lets you add spandrels to columns indoors.

Decorating is my favourite "job" in Sims 4, and I use a lot of these tips in the game. Bookmarked!
