Hello there, I'm new to The a Sims 4 but by no means new to Sims. I absolutely love the new game but I'd got used to the extra features provided by expansions with the Sims 3 so I was looking for ways to spice up the gameplay and came across this legacy challenge.
I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet but my founder sim is called Aleta Meldonado. She is creative, an art lover, ambitious and a muser. Her aspiration is to be a painter extraordinaire and her current job is a painter.
She recently married her boyfriend, J, whose traits are: active, non-committal, bro and high metabolism. His aspiration is to be a body builder and he works in the astronaut career.
Aleta has just discovered that she is pregnant with her first child and I will be following the firstborn succession rule so this baby will be her heir.
I've never done a legacy challenge before so I'm really looking forward to seeing how this one plans out!

Here is Aleta:
She is an aspiring painter, just starting out in her career. She's new in town but hopes to be able to carve out a place for herself there.
Her husband, J:
He met Aleta at the gym and, despite being adverse to commitment, fell head over heels for her. He currently works as an astronaut but harbours ambitions of reaching the peak of physical fitness.

The firstborn was a baby girl, Aliana and her brother, Javier followed soon afterwards. They are now both children.
Here is Aliana, who takes after her father in complexion and hair colour but has her mother's eyes (which she chose to close just as I took the picture...grrr):
She developed the mean trait which often comes across in her attitude towards her brother and her childhood aspiration is to be a rambunctious scamp.
This is Javier, the spitting image of his mother but with his father's eyes:
He is a slob but knows he looks effortlessly cool anyway. He is in competition with his sister for title of resident rambunctious scamp! Unfortunately, I'm in a bit of a dilemma because I was going to follow the "firstborn" succession rule but I am ABSOLUTELY in love with Javier! I'm going to wait and see how they both mature into adults first but I will probably end up changing my succession rules so that he can inherit.
Aleta and J have both aged up into mature adults and are working hard in their careers as the family's home is still under construction. Here is a picture of it from yesterday:
Today, I completely remodelled the downstairs area and added a second floor for the kids' bedrooms but I don't have a picture of that. As a result... They now have a grand total of 44 simoleons between them!
