@Rinilex - I haven't had any issues and I've been playing the same house for well over 40 hours probably by now. I have two other games saved for different families too. I keep my game cleaned out though. If you go to manage households you'll notice that there are a lot of "homeless" sims, i.e. sims that aren't in either neighborhood. Those multiply which is a suspected cause of lag on some people systems. I go through them whenever I load my game save and just delete the majority. It should also be noted I have a hand me down computer not a ridiculously expansive one and my game is running fine so you might want to try that homeless deletion.
I'd also note the loading times are way shorter then Sims 2 and I go out way more in Sims 4 then I did in Sims 3 because there are actually sims at the locations. No more ghost town! Thank goodness.
If you don't know, red nose day is a British charity event that runs every other year to raise money for comic relief for children and red noses are worn. That was the 2011 nose and I always get alot of likes on Facebook for it so I thought why not lighten this place up a bit?
I'm sorry I can't help but to LOL at this, remembering how long it used to take some games to load and now we are complaining about waiting for loading screens under a minute....and how unbearable it is

People have higher expectations than they used to have I guess

I take that back.... I had no idea. It's a good cause you are supporting.

Been a UK event for years now I think lol We also have Children in need on every November
how long have u been playing that save ? just curious
Quite a few hours now, I imagine. Into the 20s or 30s.
There is a no loading screen mod out now.
I noticed a no intro thing on MTS but I was sure it was for just the intro. I don't think there is anyway to get rid of the loading screens since the lots need to be loaded in game.

I'm from the US. I'm sure we do something like this during the holidays as well.
I guess most places do it. The only things we don't celebrate is the 4th July and Thanks Giving, instead we have St George's Day (that no one seems to celebrate) St Andrew's Day (Everyone in Scotland celebrates), St Davids Day (For Wales to celebrate) and St Patrick's Day for Ireland that everyone in the world celebrates...

I do think EA should be made aware of this problem if its affecting people with regular hard drives.
