NIGHT 1
It's been a long day. The town was busy all day trying to set up a trial, and during it, the Defendant didn't even defend themselves! It was sure a sign of defeat, right?
Wrong. The Defendant was innocent, and the town just killed another law-abiding citizen. How unfortunate. There are still killers about.... but where?
A woman wearing a trench coat was inside the city Morgue. She was analyzing the dead body of the cop who was killed in cold blood the night before. Nothing of interest here.
She moves on to the only piece of evidence from the crime scene.... the Knife. She carefully scans it for finger prints under a special light, and when she thinks she found some, she takes it in to her lab.
Only trouble is, it's a long process trying to match fingerprints. She has to compare one set of fingerprints at a time. She thinks of all the suspects in her town. Who could have done this?
She makes up her decision, and pinpoints one citizen's thumbprints through the Town Database to compare those with the prints she found on the knife. It takes several hours for the computer to analyze.
The woman is getting tired, it's now past 3 AM. She decides to go to the break room to make some coffee to keep her awake.
Unbeknownst to her, she wasn't the only one in the office this morning.
When she returns to the lab, something is amiss. The Database appears corrupt. It's not analyzing finger prints anymore, no. It's counting down from 10. As it gets closer to 0, she hears a light ticking noise and when she realizes what it is, it's already too late.
BOOM!

So I have another soccer game in about an hour. :P I'll be back in 3-4 hours, in which I will end the Accusation Period if no cases have been made.
If I'm not here when/if the Judge picks a case, you guys can proceed with the hiring process. And if all of that is taken care of and I'm STILL not here, and you guys grow impatient, feel free to start the trial for me. And I can't make the Jury chat, so I'm useless in that regard anyway. XD
Also, people. There are 8 of us. At some point we have to No Lynch. So don't be afraid to vote Not Guilty if that is what you think. I had some reflection overnight and I think it is Jake.

Pretty much yeh. I wonder if renee said anything in the jury that made the mafia members of the jury realise she was detective or not? Did they know she was detective or was it dumb luck?
Am I right in thinking that there are 2 mafia members and there was 8 townies, now two are dead so there are 6 townies. Or are there more mafia?
