There ARE KIDS who frequent this forum, keep your Dirty mouths off here, A good rule to live by on here, IF you can't say it in a House of God, then WHY say it here?? Just an example, don't get angry atheists...

I do have opinions about this game, but i prefer discussing them with good friends on my Origin list...

People like me from the UK would be grateful to hear your insights into the game - regardless of being close friends with you or not

Then don't say something so outrageous. People have a right express their dissatisfaction how they please. You have the right to tell them otherwise, as you just did, but don't expect people to listen. You have no power, and your standards don't apply to everyone.

    Welcome to the internet.

All I'm saying is keep the BLEEPS off here.. it's a General audiences kind of forum, not an Adult video one..

Then, maybe the kiddies should find a forum for kids.

Eh, I'm just skipping past the negativity. It's the Internet - people like to complain more than they like to praise things. It's the nature of the beast.

It's rated T for Teen, not really supposed to be for kids.

It's rated T for Teen. So that's what these forums should be as well. By the way, it's not "hate". It's a justified negative opinion about something. Just 'cause you love it and think it's great doesn't mean everyone else who has a different opinion should just shut up.

I understand where you're coming from, but ranting and raving about it doesn't help anything and the way you worded it was a little...overboard so people are going to want to just, retaliate.

Um, why did you disagree with my post? It "is" rated T for Teen. It says so at the bottom of this website.

Edit: Seriously? I get flagged for saying what the game rating is? That's ridiculous. Misusing the flag button can get you banned.

I think I know the thread you are talking about...that word was a four letter and I was shocked it did not get censored.

Most bad words are replaced with the word plum...it is a running joke to say plum around here now.

But this is not a site for kids.

I also noticed someone was flagging everyone in here. But yes this game is T for Teen, and the last time I checked teens were not kids and most actually curse and do adult things. Now I am not saying we should make this like an Irish pub in here, but we certainly don't need to be making it Barney's fun house in here either.

Oh my god. Say it isn't freaking so! Teens and up are posting about a game made for teens and up! Watch your language for the little children who are on a forum for a game not made for them. Watch out now.

People are going to be mad, happy and whatever, making threads like this is not going to stop them.

GMGAR, thank you for Seeing that post I was so upset about I created this one.. If I only put the link in my thread, It had a NON "Plummed" word of it, and I was certainly shocked to see it.. A certain someone got by with creating an F word post, I do cuss IRL but WE all have guidelines on here that we all agreed to, and Keeping a Civil tongue is our responsibility. Otherwise the forum has to get rebuilt, Like it JUST DID..

dude. This guy has been a PC gamer since 1989. That's the year I was born. He could be old enough to be my father. Look at the hyper-religious way he talks! He even has Simba thumbs-upping in his avatar. No one thumbs ups anymore! Are you my father?

Edit: Changed your avatar, man? Real smooth. Real smooth. Saw another user with the same one tho. They might be kinda p*🐸🐸🐸🐸. lulz.

And btw, as a Christian myself, this isn't exactly the right place to do this. First of all, this is the internet, you post something that has anything to do with religion, (I'm even risking my chances here. lol) it won't end up good for you. People will disregard anything that has to do with religion on a secular forum. I'm not trying to be rude or arrogant here but it is just common knowledge.

@pc452000 Did you just flag the first 7 or so posts out of spite? We have opinions too. If you can't take it? Then it is better if you stayed with your Origin list.

It turns out it's not as bad as some expected. Is it fantastic and great? I wouldn't say so. EA could have done better. But...

There are Sims everywhere-in the venues, the park, and on the street around my Sim's house. If your Sims is doing something in public, or chatting with another Sim in public, often another Sim will stop by to join the conversation. When kids play in the park, other kids might join in, or adults will come and chat while they watch the kids play.

I seem to have more time in the day when my Sims aren't working to do stuff like working on skills and socializing.

    I personally like the graphics.

I only had one minor clipping incident during the birth of a baby. Though the other kids, I send to the hospital. I don't like how they do babies and how they spring suddenly from newborn to child. It isn't great continuity, even though I never really cared for toddlers.

Yes, you teleport everywhere. When you go to visit your neighbor's house, you get a quick load screen. They are very short, though.

The things I really want to see-the old, standard jobs. I'd like to see them put in the speed where you can fast forward through that one action then have it reset back to normal speed.

I want to buy groceries and clothes. In stores.

But in general it's not so bad. No doubt EA will sell us a lot of those missing things. The kids are adorable.

There are a lot of smaller details, mostly minor, both good and bad I'm not covering here, but the bad is a lot more minor than I'd expected.
