Hi, thanks for this thread! I have been wondering about the aging up with traits process. If you are able to answer some of my questions that'd be great. How does it work? Is it child gets one trait, teens two, and YA three/four? And then I was wondering how they're chosen as your sim ages up. As far as I know there's no randomize traits button, judging from the CAS demo... so are we forced to choose our child's traits, does the game choose them? Can we still randomize them when they age up? I strictly randomize the traits when they age so I really wanted to know... thanks in advance!

Yes, children get one trait and a specific aspiration to them. Teens get two and an 'adult' aspiration. And adults get three and an aspiration.
Unfortunately there is no randomizing traits or aspirations. You're given a full (possibly not completely if aging from baby to kid) list of traits.
Here are the screens for a child aging into a teen:
@pandora4co - Me again :P So you can see how many days until they age up in their 'simology' type tab. YA on normal lifespan ages up in 20 days and kids in 13.

@Elyssandariel - In the options you can switch the camera to TS3's version which I've done because TS4 doesn't allow you to t ilt (supposedly, I read creators camp people saying this). 'C' is still the key to take pictures. Just a side note, I might be doing something wrong but I'm unable to take screenshots in CAS.

Thanks so much for your response and for taking pictures of it! But yeah that's a shame we can't randomize traits anymore. :( I'll have to find my own way now to randomize it, lol.
@lynny - Enne was only able to buy 'starter' seed packages. Her flower packets contained: chrysanthemum, daisy and blue bells. Her veggies contained: mushrooms, carrot and spinach. Her fruit contained: grapes, plantains and apples. And the herbs contained parsley and basil. I'm guessing as you level the skill new packets will be available to you. Gardening is one of my favorite skills so it's definitely something I will eventually get to. Hope that helps you for now though!

Not sure if this is definitive but I spied this guy at the park and it reminded me that there was a female sim dressed similarly in one of the official live streams. Whichever guru it was did say it was a homeless sim. Did that answer your Q?

Have you ticked the option "Uncompressed Sim texture" in the settings?
With the emotional auras on the minerals and stones, which auras did they give off?
