Wow folks its finally happening! Please post your problems and definitely share solutions. I will be adding to list.

Installation - general check list
-Make sure everything is up to date - origin and Operating System and your card drivers
-Reboot system if you update it.
-Make sure you have permission (admin rights) to install game
Possible issues
-Anti virus blocking installation (an example of this with sims 3 http://help.ea.com/en/article/the-sims-3-launcher-will-not-open-or-load-after-update-patch/)
-Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (1603)

i wont have the game for another 9 hours, are you saying the game didnt patch? my assumption is that its patching after installing. perhaps its like other games on origin, log out of game and reboot system just to be safe open origin and see if the patch is available to run
