Ah well I guess thanks for posting then! Lol XD

I was really hoping the story would have ended with the ferrets buying you Sims 4, like that one girls' black pug that partially destroyed her laptop... I'm slightly disappointed!

I have an acquaintance on another forum who shared that her puppies went onto Amazon one day and ordered a kiddie pool for themselves. She had the computer open to Amazon and 1-click ordering turned on. XD

That's nice of him to do for you. :) Should try it out at least so you can tell others about it.

He probably sees you on the Sims forum all the time, and thought, hey, she must be super stoked about this game! LOL

You should see some of the jewelry or sweaters he has gotten me over the years. I love him though, he is a good husband and I am difficult to buy for.

You could always thank him by getting him a James Blunt DVD in return..

I'm secretly getting his army stuff put into a shadow box for our anniversary, he was a combat medic.
I did that with the coins my husband received throughout the years.

That's really sweet of him. Congrats - I'm sure you'll enjoy it. If nothing else, as others have said, at least you recognize you have such a thoughtful husband. At least this way it takes some of the pressure off...if you don't like it, you don't have to worry about it being a wasted purchase on your end :) So maybe instead of worrying about what is/isn't great, you can just take it for what it is and play without putting too much thought into it!

lol that likely has a lot to do with it. Plus I think that he doesn't realize its a different game. He said look you have the next expansion, surprise! I think he thinks it's like WoW, where you need the next ep's to continue to progress. Now that I think about it he has commented about how peaceful it seems. Now i wonder if he is wondering where the battles are.

If you haven't figured it out, he isn't a gamer by any stretch of the word.

    They are.
Lillybug was badly abused when I got her, she was the hardest to rehabilitate for sure. It has taken a year for her to trust me enough to let me handle her without biting. Peanut is my little spaz and Fuzzfuzz in an escape artist. They each have very different personalities and are fun as heck to watch and play with but they are a handful and keep me busy.

You could always return it,but then again it could hurt his feelings but you can explain to him why.

He means more to me than my ideologies. He really thinks he got it right this time and I'm going to let him think that.

    Are you trolling?
If you don't want it chuck it my way. I'm flat out getting Hubby to buy me an ice cream. Appreciate he cares enough to get you something without asking.

So, I had my origin account open and was looking through games but I had to go switch my ferrets out (I have 9 and my 2 youngest fight with 3 of my older boys so they cant all be out in the ferret room at once they get swapped out every 5 hours) ANYWAY, during my ferret swapping time which includes fresh water, linen changes and litter box scooping my husband bought me frigging ts4. Bless his heart he meant well. I don't have the heart to tell him I had wanted to wait.

He was so pleased with himself.

Now I have to really try to act excited and happy about it at least for a couple weeks.

So sorry this happened to you. I'd feel so guilty... he sounds like a sweet person. :(

Flowers die, chocolates get eaten, cars break down, jewelry tarnishes...but if your man gives you video games, you know he loves you! That's, like, second only to putting a ring on it. ^_^

My husband bought me mine too for my birthday this month. I was on the fence but now I am excited for it. Maybe once you get it and play it for a while you will like it.

Why didn't you want to get it? You said you wanted to wait so it sounds like you planned on getting it eventually. Now, you don't have to wait. I hope you wind up liking it so you don't have to pretend.

My fiance stole the extra icecream from work for me today because it's the time of the month and I turn into a dragon with three heads. The drumsticks helped.

We have awesome men in our lives. <3 Might as well enjoy the game.
Maybe you can write up an honest review of your likes and dislikes of the game for me since I'm waiting it out. :]

I take it you never discuss your feelings on a game with him, my poor fiances has had to constantly listen to my opinion on the game for the past year lol
Think he will be glad when friday arrives!
