I hope it's easy to make money in sims 4, as the bills are going to be pretty high. :D

I actually like this feature, but I sure hope it's easy to make money as bills are going to be a lot higher than previous games.

"Bills. Let me talk about bills. They have teeth now. They are calculated based on the total value of the house, including objects in the family inventory. The only thing they don’t tax is cash on hand. Her first set of bills, back when she was just furniture on the lawn, came to $750. Yes, you read that right, $750. "

YAY! Finally a challenge like in TS1 and TS2. Sorry, but it's about time.

Probably it was that high because she had an $8200 suit of armor in her household inventory.

I agree, it will be nice to actually feel challenged, in sims 3 it was far too easy to make money. :D

Yay! My Sims will actually have something to spend their money on! TS3 Simoleons accumulated far too quickly IMO, especially with the low bills in TS3.

Yes! I love it! I hate how easy it is to accrue money, lets hope Sims 4 has a more realistic economy.

Yes, and instead of a repo man. I hated that guy btw you get your utilities turned off. If you want more realism I don't think it gets any realer than that. I'm not sure which Guru said it but once your bill becomes delinquent it just gets worst the more you don't pay. *Sorry, if this stuff was indicated in the link, I haven't followed it yet*

I love this aspect of the game, but I'm actually hoping that money isn't so easy to come by. Sims3 really made everything far too easy. I realized this (probably in the beginning, but even more so now since I've started playing Sims2 again). Sims2 just seems so hard. I need the challenge, so I'm hoping that things won't be quite so easy in Sims4, so that I can enhance my brain cells, rather than dumb them down. LOL

Most households have way more money than that, though, it is just that we buy beds, showers and fridges with that money instead.

I did not do a legacy with Sims 3, however, I do believe I will with Sims 4. I really am liking how this person wrote about the Sims 4 and game play. I do believe it will be a fun game and will have much to offer so for me I am looking so forward to the release date on Sept 2nd.

Exactly! I've been playing TS2 again over the past few days and it was such a challenge! That game has so much more depth! I love TS3 but I'd forgotten just how easy everything was and how much was just handed to our sims compared to TS2.

Sadly, it seems that with this new game, they've taken away even more of the challenge.
