I am glad you guys like the venue! We had a blast creating it for you.

Btw, I noticed a few people were wondering about a gondolier outfit. I found that there are some great pieces of existing store clothing that can be combined to make the perfect costume.

I uploaded a Sim to showcase a costume here:
    http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=8385178

this particular build does use a Monte Vista hat, but I found there are some additional alternatives that will work if you don't have that world. Btw the shirt I used is free.

if you are looking for a hat alternative than the one from monte vista, this one would work well:
    http://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:54681&scategoryId=11960

or the hat from Cante Captivating with a wicker texture recolor:
    http://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:24590

There's just roughly an hour left until the last ever Store release. Thank you so much to everyone who's made additional content for our games, particularly SimGuruCopeland and SimGuruTaterTot who have made these forums such a fun and exciting place to be. Also, thank you to all the amazing forum members that have made this place what it is.

This! Thank you TT and Sir Copeland! You two make an awesome team!!! <(^.^)>
I fear this site will never be the same again. :(

With these upcoming 'upgrades' I fear that our community is crumbling not just from above, but from below as well. :(

    *breaks down again*

Hopefully our Alan will have his own computer company one day too and you KNOW it'll be better than Amstrad! :D:lol:

    So, it's Sir COPELAND. :D

I'm sad the new Sims 3 goodies are now over.
I still don't know what to make of Sims 4..the cons outweigh the pros at this time
    (for me)

I love the new Store Venue, esp since it will give me reason to use a few worlds I hardly ever did.
Thank you, Store team, for trying to make us what you could.

Thank you Store Team for listening and fulfilling so many of our wishes. It is going to be hard to break the habit of checking for the latest hint each day. The store section of the forums has been a haven; a real joy to see so many happy simmers. Simming life will be rather boring now without our Store Team.

All the best of luck to each of you. ♥

The venue really is beautiful! :D

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I could add to it? I'm currently updating it with the bistro oven and recipes, but I don't have my creative hat on today so I'm not sure what else to include. :)

Well, you have to add the Tea Set!
I also added a wedding arch, Romanza Ceremony flowers and will be adding more content when I have some time to take another look.

This venue looks very lovely! I hope everyone enjoys it. :-) Thank you store team for all you have giving us!

I know a few people (including myself) who very badly wanted a tunnel of love with romantic interactions on a boat. Although this isn't the cheesy ride I was wanting, you still gave it to me and others with a much more appealing concept. So I thank you with the bottom of my heart for giving many of us simmers all these stuff N' thangs.:lol: lol

 And this. It's perfectly said.

Without the store team's hard work and offerings the game would not be anywhere near as complete as it is now. You all have truly been the best and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

sigh. Now I guess I must shuffle off to find CC yoga mats and ferris wheels.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.

With The Sims 3 series now finally at an end I too have found myself succumbing to CC, tried a few hairs the other day and now there's some Medieval/Castle inspired furniture sets I am going to download from TSR :-)

The Sims 3 shall live on for me for a long time to come :)

I'm looking forward to building my own cathedral/church with these wonderful new build items. The Amore one is obviously stunning, but I'd like something bigger. :)

I've noticed that the gondola seems to spawn a random Sim to steer the boat, which can be awkward as their outfit is randomly generated. I've had some very unusual-looking gondoliers.

    Hi gmgar,

Your ideas sound perfect for Amore! I forgot about the Wishing Well. I will definitely be adding that. I had to unplug my good computer as we have a thunder storm moving in.
I think I will also add the wine register from World Adventures and make a wine shop.
