Sims are neither left nor right handed.
In TS4, sims are randomly left or right-handed, with right-handed being more common.

Also there's basketball courts?! Love it.

It's sad all you could come up with was a short list of minor features.

For a moment I thought TS4 had actually revealed more features...

It still looks like a game that lacks five features for each one it has.

I'd rather have pools and toddlers than cupcake machines, voodoo dolls, and rocket ships..

Edit: lol I see some people disagree with me so I'm just gonna elaborate on my comment a little more... It's the principal xD. Pools have been in the base game since the Sims 1 and you would expect something as basic as that to be in a life simulator game. Toddlers have also been in the base game since Sims 2 and toddlers are much harder to animate which is why you can't assume we'd get them later on in an expansion pack. Cupcake machines, voodoo dolls (an item that would make more sense in a supernatural EP) and rocketships all could be added in expansion packs and I would imagine they'd take less time than toddlers, a whole life stage. That's what I feel anyway, pools and toddlers should be in the base game (since it is a life simulator and the jump from baby to child is way too big) and those other items could be added later on. Just my opinion.

Well, I wanted a TS4 that would be better than TS2, not TS3. I've quit TS3 and gone back to TS2 because it has richer gameplay.

You don't see the inherent problem of complaining about a lack of features from previous games then openly admit said features weren't even in all three previous games? :/

If you don't see the problem with your very own argument then there is nothing I can do to help.

The most logical thing is to compare it to it's immediate predecessor.

But it's not the sims who are left or right handed, it's to do with object and animations, which is exactly the same in sims 3 as some animations were left handed whilst others were right. So really it shouldn't count.

    Woot! Added.

Yes, in my eyes TS3 was a failure because it left out hot tubs, diving boards, open venues, socializations like in TS2, interactions, a more emotive Sim, children's games, and on and on. IMHO, TS3 was a fail to be as far as the base game was concerned because in lieu of the open world they focused on that more than the did they Sim and left out everything from TS2 concerning the 'lively' TS2 Sim. And they took their focus off the Sim and on to selling stuff and it became known as, The Sims 4, The Download Content Game, among many more people than here.

You have to look at TS1 and TS2's base since the box says The Sims 4.

Okay, I clarified this to state "ambidextrous" Sims :P

Also I've updated the list with new things people listed as well as removing things that were indeed in Sims 3 at launch.

*visitable venues (not rabbit holes) like bars, as no other base game has had that option before
*being able to travel between towns this will really come into play when newer expansions add new worlds and people will not have to create whole new saves and abandon their current families just to be able to experience them.
