Price range? What are you looking to do on it?

I have the Toshiba satellite C50d, which isnt the best, but it runs the sims 3 wonderfully, and since the sims 4 is easier on the computer it would be even better.

Im honestly not the best with laptops. Ill bump this, maybe you can change the title to something like "best LAPTOPS for the sims 4" be a bit more descriptive so you can get a few good answers :)

A HP Pavilion, or a Acer Aspire are both fairly decent laptops that are around that price range. Would both run the Sims just fine too.

Although if you have a computer store around you I think the easiest option would be to bring in the Sims 4 system specs and talk to someone there. They would be able to point out the best laptop for your needs. :)

Starting to worry I hope no one minds me asking but I just purchased the hp pavillon 22 all in one these are the specs
AMD A Series quad core A4-5000.
    Processor speed 1.5GHz.
    4GB RAM.
    Hard drive:

    1000GB SATA hard drive.
    DVD optical drives:

    Dual layer.
    Graphics:

    Dedicated graphics.
    AMD Radeon HD with 8330

Will sims 4 run ok? I don't normally buy expensive things and a little worried that I just wasted our money especially since we have a little one on the way xx I've posted quite a few tims (sorry) but would really like a reply :( x

That computer has a very small hard drive. Are you playing the game on this computer and not using the computer for everyday or anything else? When playing this game you need to leave 50 gb hard drive free space. You should have a computer with at least 1 tb hard drive

This would actually be better. has more hard drive space. Having a new skylake i3 for this game would be fine http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/desktop-pcs/desktop-pcs/pc-specialist-vortex-core-ii-gaming-pc-10158596-pdt.html

If your also playing the sims 4 than you would need an i5. That game is more processor heavy

your in the sims 3 section. For the sims 4 you need an i5 quad core or an AMD FX 8000 series processor. The sims 4 is processor heavy and is programed differently than the sims 3. You could get away with that i3 if you were playing the sims 3

This meets all requirements to play the sims 4. Comes with keyboard, mouse and monitor https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fierce-Ripper-Gaming-PC-Performance/dp/B01MTK1QI7/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493766467&sr=8-1&keywords=Fierce+Ripper+Gaming+PC+-+4.2GHz+Octa+Core+AMD+FX8300,+NVIDIA+GTX+1050+Ti+4GB+GDDR5,+16GB+Performance+Memory,+1TB+Hard+Drive,+Perfect+for+New+Games,+DirectX+12+Bundle+-+341481

The reason this thread looks like it's about TS4 but is in the TS3 section is that it's from the Summer of 2014, before TS4 was even released and the forum boards weren't as strictly divided back then as they are today. There is hopefully a better thread on the TS4 side for New Members to post onto, something the equivalent of "Thread for New Members" or "Will this Computer Run TS4?"

There is but I can still answer. The specs are somewhat different for TS4 because it's processor heavy. You need an i5 or amd fx 8000 series. TS3 you only need a 2.4 ghz processor or better

That was meant to be for the benefit of @Gamble as they are new to the forums and might not understand the board structure. But now they are posting the same question on the TS4 Mac board, so I give up.

I just let them know they are posting in the wrong section yet again and EA will see this as a new account trolling if they keep posting the same question over and over all over the forum

Thanks, I thought that was one of the fierce PCs that gave you the option to add windows 10. They usually do but I guess this one does not
