Welcome to Neon Modeling! A modeling competition with more edgy and outrageous themes than most others. If you like more quirky and extravagant modeling themes then this competition is definitely for you!
This competition is a fashion competition but will also require you to think carefully about your setting, posing and editing skills as some assignments will need more creativity from you than others.
Assignments can vary from an 80's extravagant fashion shot to a biker chick photoshoot so look out for edgy themes and twists along the way!
This competition is an elimination competition and will require at least 10 models to begin. If more than 10 models apply some rounds will be double or even triple elimination, there will be 12 assignments in all including the mock so bring your A game if you want to be in for the long run!
No negativity towards other contestants or belittling yourself
Judges comments / scores are most likely personal to their own tastes or likes so please be respectful towards our judges
CC is allowed and recommended
Editing is allowed and strongly recommended
No Face Plastering or Photo Skinning
Only 3 extensions per author per cycle, I will be keeping track!
Extensions only last 2 days max. and I will only accept them 24 hours before the deadline of the current assignment
Each assignment lasts 7 days unless it is more complex or there are two parts to it and I will state underneath whether extensions will be accepted or not that round
I set deadlines at GMT time so ask if you need it changed to your timezone!
If you are going to post NUDE images post them on Unbound under a spoiler!
Please don't join if you know you are likely to drop!

MOCK ASSIGNMENT: EDGY HEADSHOT
Models, for your first assignment we want you to show us you can pull of an edgy look! We want you to create a provocative, edgy headshot to show us that your model can show her wild side!
The shot should look like an editorial shot and your background should be a solid colour!Everyone will automatically receive 5/5 for location / set as you all just need a solid colour background!

SCORING BREAKDOWN
Model Styling: Is the model styled fashionably and appropriately for the assignment?
Location / Set: Is the set well designed / creative and appropriate for the assignment?
Quality: Is the photo quality smooth and not pixelated?
Edginess: Does the shot look sexy, edgy, provocative or outrageous?
Creativity: Is the photo creative and stands out compared to the other entries?
Requirements: Does the shot follow all of the listed requirements?
Overall Image: Does the image as a whole work, does it feel like a fashion shot?

I don't compete with female sims as anything but extras, so if you allow males to compete, I will gladly reserve and have my app up tonight, however if not that's fine too, I understand and wish you very well with the comp, it looks fun

Experience: Never judged/entered a sims modeling contest, but have participated/ran/judged fashion challenges on other games. Although I do favor a particular asthetic (er... more Asianish I guess?), I like any kind of quirky/edgy fashion (hence this competition caught my attention). I have been posing/photoshopping game screenshots for a while.
