Thank you Tiki5872. I didn't do much to the KPST venue. I just plonked a few items from the bakery set down to see how they worked.
Now I want to start building something. And I want to use KPST but I have decided to build it in Dragon Valley - so maybe KPST build will have to be the next one I do.
Mstybl95 thank you too. I live in the state capital but am in an inner/outer sort of suburb. So my house has space for some sort of a garden all around it. I have many trees and bushes and otherwise just grass and weeds at the moment.
Thank you to both of you for adding your builds to the thread. I've added your info to the first post.
Cat - I'm about to start building a new bakery from scratch. I'll see if I can fit in a vending machine.
Maybe off topic but does anyone know how to keep NPC from going into the kitchen? I Set my bakery as a hangout so my Sim could own it, but I'm getting irritated with the NPC's constantly going into the kitchen and baking their own goods or taking quick meals from the fridge instead of buying my Sims goodies.

I tried putting a barrier to entry door on it. But I haven't tested yet. You can specify who can go through those doors on community lots.
@Mstybl95: I am having so much fun at building community gardens, but am not happy with any of my ending results. I just want to let you know that yours is absolutely breathtaking!

That sounds like a good idea however I don't have that and I don't want to buy sim points to get it. Any other suggestions or work arounds?
Meryton Community Park is very nice ! Mstybl95 Very nice layout of the build! It looks so very nice how you have done the flowers and plants through the build ! It looks great that you have a tractor path around the edges of the lot. The greenhouse looks great . Sins will enjoy harvesting the plants both inside in the planters under the shelter of the greenhouse as well as outside in the sunshine and outdoors air. It looks very nice how you have done the section where you have placed the water fountain in the middle of the area and the seat benches in the corners, Sims will enjoy resting there on the seats with nice calm surroundings and sights to see. The arches there to enter the area look nice. Nice gazebo area. It looks nice how you have set up the tables and chairs under the gazebo for sims to eat their bought food from the bakery, enjoying the outdoors air. The type of seats that you have used look nice. Very nice bakery section of the garden. Great covered over area for sims to buy baked goods. It looks great how you have placed the display shelves there , and have used the vine entwined columns and hanging string lights. The serviettes and bread sticks on the tables look great. It is a very nice gardens for sims to enjoy visiting and walking, gardening, buying and eating amongst very nice surroundings!
Your pizza and Pasta cafe is great great exterior of it. The brickwork exterior texture and the way you have used the cornices looks great. Great angled corner entrance to the shop. It is great that you have placed the woodstove oven there to cook meals to stock the shelves. It looks great how you have set up an apartment on the second floor. Nice furnishing of it. The patterned curtains look nice. The scenic picture on the bedhead wall would be nice for sims to see when waking in the morning.
Both builds are great!
Tiki5872, Dragon123561 and mcrudd your builds are great! I have already posted about them on your other threads but just wanted it say again that they are very nice! Sims will enjoy visiting your builds to enjoy buying and eating the food,
Pretty little bakery is very nice Crizzy2468 Very nice exterior of it! It looks nice how you have done the upper balcony railings. The flowers on the upper balconies look nice there. It looks very nice how you have placed the flowers on the corner and on the side edges of the lot. Great outdoors barista bar and bar stool counter area! Sims will enjoy sitting on the bar stools there enjoying eating or drinking in the sunshine and outside air. It looks great how you have used and placed the windows and awnings that came with the new set. The textures that you have used for the exterior look great. Nice type of seating that you have used indoors for sims to enjoy dining on. The vase of flowers in the corner of the dining area is nice for sims to see whilst they are sitting there. Nice shade of blue and pattern strip that you have used for the walls. It looks great how you have placed ceiling lights over the dining tables and over the display shelves .
It is a very nice bakery.
Thank you for your kind comments! I'm happy to know that other Simmers appreciate my creations.
I love seeing the other bakeries on this forum. I already feel inspired to make another one.
lovely bakeries , have downloaded a few. I have been learning so much reading and looking at pics. I started trying my hand at something small, just one refridgerated case. no oven or fridge , we will see how that works out, will have my sim buy it and stock with things from home. It is supposed to just be a small baked goods stand in a farmers market.
Your Farmer's Market build looks great krimsonnox It is a great idea to have a baked goods stand as a part of it. It looks great how you have set it up under a gazebo. The cupcake decor on the wall, and the cupcake, cake and flan stands there looks great . It looks great how you have set up the other stands using the awnings. The floor mats on the ground look great how you have placed them. The scarecrow and harvest wheelbarrow are great for sims to see when coming to the market.

Vintage Bakery is an elegant small shop that sells various flour-based foods. We stock the freshest cakes, pies, pastries and breads. It's a mirrored twin of my Vintage Sweets build.
I created small bakery on a 15x20 lot. It's called the Frio Brothers Bakery. I created it in Roaring Heights but it would work well in most worlds. Also uses many of the items from the Bohemian Garden set. No custom content, no create-a-pattern. Verified with Custard. Please recommend. Thanks!
All of these are so cute! I love the different colors, some bold, some traditional. They all look lovely. I really want to add them all to my game, but then it would be full of bakeries and nothing else! And my town is getting a little thick around the waist since the bakery came out.

So if you have university life why not add one to a bakery?
