Hi can you add me please to the list i think it is a good idea, and a good option for people to use to turn off strays because it does make it very laggy and annoying .

Though I don't personally agree with your reasons for wanting this (though I can do so politely, which apparently is quite difficult for people around here) I do have my own reasons, and I feel that if your reasons are important to you, then there's no reason why they shouldn't be taken into account.

What I believe started out as a good idea, got all tangled up in controversy, This is a game, the animals are not real, but, the idea that we should have a choice is! I think that we should have a choice about anything in the game, I have Supernatural but turn off the supernatural creatures, so an opt out button for this would be fine. Let's just not forget it is a game.
I was going to merely give this a bump, but I noticed my name wasn't on it. I thought I had signed this LONG ago! This must be one of those things where I opened many tabs with the idea that I'd be getting to it, and just somehow never did. Although I got one of my cats this way in real life, strays make me very sad. I want to adopt every one, and I can't. I worry for the entire rest of the day when I see one out while I'm driving. I worry about it's safety, and wish it had someone to love. Sign me up please. :-)

I completely agree that it's not something I'd want to see in game as it would be heartbreaking to see in real life. I am owned by two small dogs that their sims counterparts could potentially get lost in the snow, that would be very sad.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.
