I think that the Sims 3, should expand on the music a little bit.
For one, create more traits, perhaps "Natural Rockstar" or "Unatural Rockstar", for example. Also, for music playing in live mode like on a stereo, there should be a lot more choices, I mean seriously, KIDDIE MUSIC!?, really, that's kinda stupid.
Not only to do that in live mode, but also do join different music genres in the music career.
Finally, I think there shoulde be more instruments available, such as a drum set, microphone, thingns like a trumpet, ect., along with the guitar.

Yes, just put your own MP3s in the custom music folder.
I can put my own music on to the Sims 3? How?
Put your MP3s in the custom music folder and when your sims turn on the radio, listen to the custom music station.
Kiddie music is hard on the ears.
It's in My Documents. Take the MP3 files, and put in the folder.
