The Sims 3 for Android: Won't download after install

For the past few months when I try and install The Sims 3, after it's installed the program part it tries to download the rest of the game but the download never succeeds.
I tried to get support on EA's site, but they only seem to have support for other platforms and not for the Android version of The Sims 3. Any idea where I should go or what's happening?
