Built for 4 Beglie Lane in DoubleMedion694's beautiful world of GlenDonnach, Scotland. Enjoy the splendour and the activities of all four seasons. Summer includes a children's playground so be sure to bring the children with you! EA content only - CUSTARD clean.
DoubleMedion694's original market built for his world GlenDonnach at number 8 MacAdder Estate with a few additions, including bathrooms, the lemonade stand and fruit stands from the Al Fresco Market. Also uses the beekeeping box from Supernatural and an item or two from Generations but these EPs are not essential for the lot. The best place to pick up fresh grown local fruits and veggies from local farms and allotments! EA content only - CUSTARD clean.
Ohhhh i am so excited about this now I have all three so it should work fine
Reachsims your lots look fantastic will defo be adding them in and reccing and of course reccing the beautiful world that is going to be so much fun to run around in!
Doing a Cinderella challenge and totally going to move it here hehe
Have a wonderful life in GlenDonnach, Littlemizboo! It's so very comfortable to live and play in.
I have no problems with it at all. No lag. Thanks for posting - I was hoping you'd check in.
I found the one last Sim (Guy Logan) who was reported as "stuck" but it turns out he wasn't stuck at all so I suppose it's an Overwatch glitch. He was enjoying himself at the local bar where I had added in a Late Night bar and removed the base game version.
Oh, and if Doublemedion checks in some time, one *can* build a basement under a foundation but it's necessary to use a tiny bit of CFE (ConstrainFloorElevation). I do it all the time since 95% of my houses have basements and half of them, I suppose, have foundations.
Well sadly my sims is not going to well Nothing to do with this wonderful world of course infact i havent gotten to see it in world yet My saved game i want to move to GlenDonach is freezing up on me after a few mins of getting into it not giving me enough time to save the family to my library so i can transfer them I am still working on figuring out the cause tho so hopefully hopefully i will get to move soon!
I reallyyyy really cant wait to have it up an running again and play in the world specially now i was very generously gifted the new country livin set sooo excited to have CHICKENS here just seems like they would fit in so well
Also can i just ask how do the rabithole doors thing be set up? ive never used those before so iam unsure on how it works i did download them ready to set up just unsure what i do now lol
Littlemizboo, I am sorry you are having trouble getting your family saved so you can move them to GlenDonnach. I hope you will get that worked out. Currently I am having a game problem too, but not in GlenDonnach. I am building in a brand new game (never been played) and am having some crashes getting to Egypt where I am building. Origin had another update the other day so be sure to update.
Here are the very best and simplest set of instructions for setting up a mods folder to handle any mod you decide to add to or take out of your game. It will take you about two minutes to do this.
I recommend you try the test at the bottom of that page to make sure you have everything in place. If you need further help, feel free to ask.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After you set up your Mods Folder, delete all the cache files in your The Sims 3 Folder. The game will recreate these every time you start a new game so in case you're not in the habit of deleting them, be sure to delete them when you make changes to your mods. It's also a good habit to delete them with every patch, every EP and every SP, after installation and before you play -- just in case you don't already know. Also, whenever you are having any problems, delete them. I have to add that when all I do is take out or add a mod, the only thing I delete is the scriptCache.package but it never hurts to delete them all.
From your The Sims 3 folder, delete these five files:
Jynx's rabbithole doors mods will go into this folder once you have it set up: Documents --> Electronic Arts --> The Sims 3 --> Mods --> Packages
Another thing I have learned to do when I am having troubles with a save - Go to this file:
Documents --> Electronic Arts --> The Sims 3 --> Saves --> [The save game folder that is giving you trouble] --> TravelDB.package
Delete TravelDBpackage. Be warned. You will lose the actual images on any photos you have had taken at photo booths but it is this very file that is the source of game corruption, as far as I understand. You might also lose some photographs but as far as I know, that's about it. I will tell you that I have gone into every single one of my games and deleted this package from them all. About 150 different games! I also delete this file after my Sims get back from travel adventures. (According to Twallan, the file has little or nothing to do with travelling.) If you just even take a look at the size of this file in all of your games you might be shocked to see how large it can get. Also, be sure to disable memories in your game as they cause too much bloating of this folder/file and are a huge waste of space in your game.
Just to reiterate, you might lose a couple things, but when you are trying to save a family, it's okay to lose some photos. *Hugs* and good luck. Call me Reach.
Edit: Forgot a couple things... I have read a post by one or two who have stated that they put those photo booth photos into the personal inventory before deleting the TravelDB.package and the images were not lost so I went to the trouble of doing that once and it worked. One other person posted a way to save the photographs the Sim had taken, but honestly, I don't care about that stuff so I just delete the package and go on to play. It only would matter to me if I was playing a photographer and in the case of how the photos were saved, this Simmer was playing a photographer so it mattered to her.
I will set up the Jynx rabbitholes now so i can be one step closer to moving to GlenDonnach
I managed to get my game up an running again just there by taking my two mods i had in out i REALLLLY want to have the relativity and story progression at least tho so iam hoping that your ideas work and i can have them lol
I need to figure out disabling memories because i do imagine it takes up loads of space and my wee laptop doesnt have much to spare lol
OMGoodness, you are playing on a laptop? To disable memories, go to Game Options. It's right there. When you delete those TravelDB.package files you should be good to go.
What I would do:
1. Turn on the game.
2. Disable memories. Quit.
3. Delete the TravelDB.package.
4. Turn on the game and go to Options again and make sure memories are disabled.
With every new Expansion Pack I add, I always check this and I sometimes have to disable them again. :roll:
Sorry to take so long in responding, Littlemizboo, but I am building in-game. You're most welcome but let's just hope these suggestions help.
Littlemizboo, please let me know how things turn out. I know there are hundreds of Simmers who will be reading this thread and might find some useful information for playing this beautiful world or another one.
Please let us know how things worked out and what you have done to get to that point.
I am very happy to help a friend in need and hope I have done so.
Well iam pleased to say after following your instructions i was able to save my household i want to play
I am just doing the usual adding bits an pieces into the town that i want to have at the moment like the festival park etc and trying to place a 60x60 lot tho not sure if that'll work so i may just have to go back an save my family without their house lol
Thank you so much for helping me iam excited to get in game now
