We are aware of the problems that some are experiencing with the Flute Forward dress and are planning to fix it in an upcoming patch. Please see this thread:

I was just noticing that none of the new Showtime earrings show up correctly on my Sims--it's like they're about an inch too far up and back from the earlobe. Is anybody else seeing that?

I did not read the entire thread, Crinrict. I hope I haven't mistakenly assumed that you are keeping the first page posts current.

I've noticed now in 2 different worlds that the Auto-Noms Automatic Pet Feeding Station doesn't fulfill a sim's wish to purchase a pet bowl. It also doesn't fulfill a pet's wish to eat "something, anything", which it seems a feeding station should do.

I was glad to read that the Flute Forward dress is being worked on. I enjoy the vintage version and have hope the YA/A version would get fixed. It's disconcerting to see a sim walking around town with part of a leg missing, LOL.

I just noticed that in the Japanese set it's impossible to recolour the flowers in the longer hair. Trying to recolour gives you an 'invalid style' error. This means the creator used the wrong textures.
If it was *meant* to be un-recolourable, you would get the message 'style cannot be changed' without the entire CASt tool locking up.

The same thing happens with the long-stem signs from the Ambitions EP. You can select the presets with the different pictures, but you can't change the textures for that same reason.

I'm having the Barnacle Bay Travel problem. I have a picture to help:
Whenever I try to send a sim on vacation or travel from Barnacle Bay the sim will disappear:

    Mysimdissappears.jpg

This has happened 3 times with 3 different families. Two were in-world families and the last one was a sim made in CAS.

This is very frustrating because this cuts the game-play in half. :(

Customer Support told me there is nothing they can do at this time so to post it here to bring it to the attention to the higher ups.

I own the Lunar Lakes town and have noticed that the Tree of Prosperity is no longer in the game. Has anyone else had this problem?

I get that problem if I install any new content, it seems to make it disappear. I have to uninstall LL and reinstall it to make it come back.

I don't know if this one has been reported anywhere in the thread, but I didn't see it in the main post. The Right Hairstyle cannot be edited (i.e. the pin can't be recolored). You just get an error message if you click on it.

This bugs me, because it's one of my favorite hairstyles, but I can't use it with most outfits because the pin clashes.

I just discovered that the Renault Zoe has the wrong speed. It's marked up as speed 6 but goes mega slow.

Not really anything major, but it's laughable when it gets overtaken by Sloppy Jalopys!

    Known Bugs and Issues:

This is based on the consensus of "multiple" players experiencing some bugs that have been going on for months now, maybe more. Please review the bugs at below before you make a post:

    - BahHaus Fence: This item, regardless of how it's installed will not show that it is installed and will be "invisible" in-game. This happened after Patch 1.29

    - *FIXED* Spellbook and Fountain of Youth Conflict:

Both of these will have borked animations depending on which one you install and it's based on the two scenarios below. As far as I know, they function properly, but lack the animations:

Scenario 1: Installing the Gothique Library/Spellbook first, then Hidden Springs will render the Spellbook to lack animations

Scenario 2: Installing Hidden Springs first, then Gothique Library/Spellbook will render the Fountain of Youth to lack animations

    - Ice cream maker: There are many flaws and issues with this item, please refer to page 2 of this thread for Amjoie's summary of the ice cream maker. This premium content object has a "high autonomous" function, based on the quote provided by SimguruAims found below:

    http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/45/533568.page
First: The static needs cheat you've been using is designed to keep your needs static, not necessarily to prevent interactions (however, as a byproduct of the static needs cheat, many interactions are prevented, though not as a function of the design). We believe that to get your desired results (for screen grabs and such), if you turn off autonomy in the option menu, you'll find that your active Sim and the Sims in your household are not going to get Ice Cream or Deep Fried Food without you telling them to do so. Hope that works for you!

Incidentally, but very important, this behavior is ONLY related to using the static needs cheat with autonomy enabled... so for people who are not using these specific settings, there should be no problem playing with autonomy enabled.

Second: When you have all cheats disabled, and you put your Sim into the kitchen with the Deep Fryer and Ice Cream Maker objects, because they advertise to fulfill both FUN and HUNGER needs, if there are no other object on the lot which they can interact with to fulfill these needs (in this case, judging by your pic, the fun need) your Sims will return to them over and over as their fun need decays. When you were playing with this Sim in this kitchen, did she have access to any other objects that could fulfill her fun needs? (I wasn't sure if you had a computer in the kitchen when you disabled the cheats- couldn't tell from the pics?) Likely if your computer is there, she'll choose to do that at some point, to fulfill her fun need too.

Botanophobic's Nemesis Sculpture (Technophobe No More): This item is not recolorable and it is best avoided to not try to recolor it due to the fact there is no way to recolor it.

    BuggedStoreContent.png

Artful Adobe Fireplace (Fabulous Fiesta!): This item (when installed by itself via download dashboard or through the launcher) will not show up in-game due to a faulty and incomplete file.

Graphical issues: The Fire is in the front of the hole, rather than on the firewood itself.

Helipophobia Harm Window (Technophobe No More): This item will have a small transparancy gap on one side of the window (such examples can be found in other store content like the Nega Door, Not-So Private Study Door, Gothique Window, and Modernism Window)

    Screenshot-3.jpg

ALL (maybe most) Store Counters and Cabinets: With the CAST involved, when attaching a store counter or a cabinet next to each other, if you have a recolored cabinet/counter, it will not sustain that recolor when you connect the two objects. This issue has been going on for a while and the only thing you have to do is to go into CAST on the recolored object and drag it to the attached cabinet/counter. Other than that, it's not a major bug.

Infinite Flow Hot Tub: This hot tub has water flowing out where it shouldn't be. It should flow out of the pipe, but instead it flows out at the bottom, which does not look right for this type of hot tub.

    Screenshot-1.jpg

King and Queen of Steam: Same with the Infinite Flow Hot Tub, but instead there is no hot tub water flowing out of the "slot" as shown on the hot tub itself.

    Screenshot-2.jpg

This explains the series of "Generous" sales and discounts lately.

    This stuff is all broken.

Don't think I've seen anyone post this one yet. I just noticed this, but the hidden tomb door from World Adventures has a hole in the wall next to it after it's found and opened.

    Screenshot-277-1.jpg

I can confirm this problem! I have noticed that it only happens on diagonal walls though. I tested on a residential lot in Starlight Shores. On straight walls the door works perfectly well with no holes. On diagonal walls though, like in the picture (that's actually the door I discovered it on as well) a hole appears on the wall section next to the door once it has been opened.

omegastarr82 at MTS took a look at the door but couldn't find what was wrong and said they didn't actually have the issue in their game.
    a.k.a. Menaceman44 on MTS.
Thoughts on a new wall mode?

^^^There's something in the Pets patch (so I've heard) that damaged the way windows, doors and arches function.

Most items in-game have hidden diagonal versions but some (and most store content) don't have them. Those that don't now have this problem.

I assume they won't fix it since Pets has been out a while.

I think this same about a SPIRAL STAIRS - I can't this place more near the walls, because Sim refuses use it. In one of my houses my sim used it going up the stairs, but he refuse then go down (with "routing" cloud).
And one fence from Showtime (this one with curved metal) isn't recolorable.

PS.: I have read, that this post isn't more mantained, but I don't know another post with original game content (not store content).

I was told to post here with my store content problem so...hi?

I installed supernatural and noticed that it was missing from my CAS which is annoying since it's the perfect vampire outfit.

I tried to reinstall it but it crashes and then I have to delete it out of my downloads folder to get the game to work again.
