My game has started crashing and i opened the task manager to look and it was hitting 99% on sims 3 and that's when it would crash, any ideas on what to do to make it work???

This is an low end CPU so it may struggle with lots of expansion packs. It's still better than a Pentium 4, but not anywhere near an i3.

You could try shutting down some background processes.

yeah the problem too is the sims3 is new software constantly evolving and older computers or weak computers struggle with it
