    It's an integrated card. Maybe try lowering settings?

    Maybe it's because IP introduces a tonne of routing issues and your computer is struggling to deal with it even though theoretically it should run Sims on lowest.

    Many computers will experience some lag. It may be worse on older machines.

    Yeh i tried it on lowest settings and it doesn't change it so i just put it all back up high and its still the same, and i play all the other sims 3 games on high settings fine, my comp is brand new windows 8 but i need a better one just to play a simulation game haha its stupid really isn't it

    Yep, Sims does indeed have a stupid amount of issues.

    More things to try:

    Okay you've tried overwatch. Did you try it with a new save game?

    Has Windows XP updated recently? You could try that.

    Have you done a virus scan recently? If that doesn't work disconnect from the internet and try temporarily disabling real time scanning options if you have McAfee.

    You could try different worlds, some may work better than others.

    I'm just sorting out my windows updates as i have never updated my laptop and i done a disk defrag which i also have never done lol
