What sim family are you going to make or remake in the sims 4? I haven't decided myself yet. I'm thinking of using a favorite of mine, Margie Smalls, an eccentric, middle-aged eco-warrior and gardener.
No idea yet. But, I am planning to recreate some Sims from Sims 3 for Sims 4. Or play around with premade families and random Sims in CAS if there are.
Of course, download off from Sims 4 site and other sites as well.
I'm going to mess with the new CAS until I have a half way decent Sim, name them what I always do with a new Sims- Becca Sim- and then go exploring. \
*Hoping there's lots of colors to choose though.
It depends upon what they look like. I tried to remake my favorite TS2 sims in ts3 and I just wasn't happy that I couldn't make them look like my ts2 sims. Also, I couldn't make them act like them either, so I just ended up making random sims.
I did get one who sort of looked like my old one, but it was so hard to make that one. I had a bunch of close up head shots that I took in the ts2 game from many different angles, it took me hours to make him and he still didn't look like himself.
I hope I can have all my old "friends" back in the new game.
CK213, your TS3 sims look awesome..... I LOVE your remakes! Personally I hope that the sims in TS4 look similar to your TS3 version of Gwen graphics wise. She's gorgeous!
I will use cas to "breed" a few generations to mix up some facial features for a new Legacy founder. I will explore the game that way as the generations come and go.
The two toddlers in my signature will be young adults in The Sims 4.
They're teenagers in my game right now, but I keep getting distracted from playing that saved game. I always meant for them to eventually grow up and move to Bridgeport together (that's been the plan since before Late Night), but playing them in The Sims 4 sounds way more interesting to me now.
It depends on the controls for the CAS in Sims 4, because it can be extremely difficult/impossible to recreate some families from TS2 in TS3, for example.
If possible, I think I would recreate my current Romanova family. They're a Russian family with a bit of a rebellious streak to them. The founder was a criminal/supervillainess. That's my avatar sim.
I'm on the 3rd/4th generation right now. The 4th generation are aged baby to teen right now. These are the parents, the mother is my 3rd generation heiress, Svetlana Romanova.
I'm not sure if I would go back and recreate my avatar sim/founder of the Romanova family, or if I would pick up where ever I leave off with this family. It could be that I recreate the 4th generation heiress (currently a teen), named Katerina Romanova, and carry on from her life forward. I haven't really decided.
But I think I wont play Sims 3 all that much any more because the baby/toddler/child/teen and elder ages are so gosh darned boring
My standard family probably... a single mum with a child from each age-group (normally girls!) xD
I don't find males as interesting/easy to make and play with in TS3, though a few little boys will occasionally pop up, as well as some rugged lovers for my young women!
If babies are better, my next family will be a young couple who either adopt or get down for a bit of Woo-Hoo!
Depends what generation I'm on when TS4 is released.
I'll most definitely continue this family I'm currently playing. So whatever generation I happen to be on when I get TS4, I'll make them in TS4 and continue the legacy.
I'm right now at 3rd/4th generation (depends which branch of family I'm playing), and I've been playing this family for 13 months now!... I'm really attached to them

I like new Sims because they're never the same.
Assuming they have green skin, pointed ears, and highlights/CASt in Base Game I'm gonna remake my family, the Kethrin/Coen/Jamesons.

A few TS2 Sims came over to TS3 and they will likely cross over to TS4 as well.
