I added a basement to my arcade and used the movie theater locks to it. Only adults with tickets can get into the room. The room, I made into a casino. So now the adults can have fun while their kids are playing video games. More casino items means more fun!
Unless it's a set releasing the casino items and other PC stuff that's not currently available for indiv sale. That would be cool.

Cos I'me fairly sure that that's the blackjack table, you don't need a robot dealer kind of person to play poker. So if this is supposed to be a completely new Pc then that's crazy.

Oh please tell me this isn't the new store content! They come out with one good set every now and then like like the Chicken Coupe and then never add to it just like the other great items except for more Casino Stuff! How many Casino's can you have!? Please give me some cows, pigs, lambs etc. anything but more Casino stuff! I can come up with lots of ideas other than repeating the same thing over and over!
Like how about allowing our Toddlers to eat their Bithday Cake!!
How about letting our Sims drive their kids to school again!
How about some decent wedding veils!
How about our Sims going on a Picnic with the whole family and being able to do family outings together! What gets me is when you do a group outing with your families the children are left to get home on a bicycle they really aren't included! Nothing like going to one of your Teens graduation and your children get left there! Ok I'll get off my soap box for now.
Poker and Roulette tables? Yay! We have needed some extra items for our Casinos
I hope there will be a casino chips cashier complete with register and cage that comes with an NPC *fingers crossed*
I'm quoting this to say that I think the register idea is a great one and add some more positivity on this thread. It seems it's already getting an overwhelming response, and everyone is of course entitled to their own opinions but I do want to let the Gurus know that some of us are appreciating what we're seeing in the sneak peek and that some players have even asked for poker tables.
Maybe two weeks from now other wishes will come true, for those who do not want this set. Not every set is perfect for every person.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.
Um, yeah, my first impression is pretty what others said. I'm sort of hopeful, though. I don't really use the casino much in my games, but maybe if there was more to do/build with in a casino I would. I'm probably not interested, but slightly curious and hopeful.

This is so funny because I was just putting a small casino room in my movie studio VIP lounge and I had a big space and nothing to put in it! I DO NOW!!!
And I was watching LGR's review of Late Night the other day and I was thinking how nice it would be to get the poker table back because I had a sim who used to do it all the time!
And I LOVE the sound of 'plenty of premium content' *rubs hands together in glee*

I wouldn't think so, unless one of the premium contents was a high rise shell? Because the picture is taken in a high rise, so unless they give us a high rise I find it unlikely. They don't tend to take pictures of content for a venue off of the venue :?

much smaller set? 10-15 items maybe?, but with plenty of premium content? 1-2 items? and all for the small price of 4500 points...but seriously, I am remaining hopeful about this set and the items it will contain
while im not enthused about a recolour of the blackjack table, it will be nice to see my sims playing something besides blackjack in their basements wasting my money losing it to the stupid robot lol
of course since I learned you can mine some tiberium then use the science station to clone it, money isn't an issue anymore, hopefully they post more pics about stuff that will be in the new set.
Also.. I'm a little wary of this coming content. I hope there is a lot more to it than a recoloured blackjack table.
I agree with the sentiment that poker tables a la Sims 2 would have been great. Simple, social and fun.

Do you remember the name of the apartment? There are several high rises in BP. It would make it easier for me to recreate that.
It's pretty easy to find. I just shut down the game and I don't know the name of the highrise but the sim living in it looks like a vampire and I think she was called Elvira. Just look at the pics.
What confused me was the colour of the chips, in my pic they're red and in their pic they are yellow. But I made the girl bet higher and her chips turned yellow.
I CALL BLUFF!!!
I bet all my llamas and a hungry cowplant that this IS NOT the premium content!

I'd just finished my venue and I figured I'd try and recreate the scene:
It's definitely Bridgeport, you can see the same buildings and it's taken from this apartment but they've changed the room.
I'm doubting that it's the premium content... the moustache makes me think they are trying to throw us off the scent!
