    Can't install 1.50.56.021017 patch

    Can't install 1.50.56.021017 patch. Half way through it says invalid file found try again....I have tried 3 times. Help??

      Same thing is happening to me! Have you managed to get it updated yet?

      I am having the same problem. I have tried to install it a half a dozen times, but so far no luck. :(

      It won't even allow me to start my launcher now that the patch started downloading. I looked at what the patch offered through the launcher, then clicked it to download, it didn't seem to be doing anything so I shut the launcher down, well now the launcher won't even fire up. It keeps saying I need to wait until the patch installs before launching the launcher.

      I'm having the same problem, half way through it says file not found. What am I doing wrong?

      Same thing is happening to mine as well it tells me invalid file!

      Same thing happend to me, so since there are lots the same problem I dont think it´s anything we are doing wrong. It´s probably the patch that is incorrect. Hope EA find the problem and fix it soon!

      Same but it doesnt display the error message until the end of the installation
      That Australian kid who plays the Sims.

      Same here 99% install wizard then up Pops "invalid file found"

      Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

      I am also getting this message but am still able to play the game as mine stops about 25% into the install. I hope this can be fixed soon.

      I am getting the invalid file message too. When I try to play the game without installing the patch the game runs VERY slow, to the point that it is not fun to play. I hope they are able to fix this problem soon...

      I am getting the same error message. I even took out all of my custom downloads. Help EA!!

      I am having the exact same issue. I've tried to download and install the patch twice and at the VERY end of the install process, I get the message that the install failed due to an invalid file and to try again later.

      Please tell me we will see a fix for this BEFORE University releases in 2 weeks.

      Good morning all!! There seems to be a problem with the patch for the launcher. The manual patch works and can be downloaded here - 1.50 patch . download and run.

      EA sent me an email saying they had fixed the patch and it you can safely install it now. I assume you all received the same email??? Anyway, if you haven't already heard...patch is good to go!!! HAPPY SIMMING!!!!!!!

      I don't think it's good to go. Mine is doing the exact same thing. :(
