Jilly get in here  I told you I had a little something for you  I felt really bad that you stepped in for Islea and I forgot to check who HER person was D: You have been SO great and I really wanted to make you something myself  I read your letter and tried to make you a fun outdoorsy type family. I saw that you like build by gngrsnp which made me super happy as she's one of my builders for SLM and she's one of my DNA team mates  I hope you like the little gift I have for you. Thank you for everything

Ismeena and Onyx Redbird are two different people with a lot in common. For one Ismeena is a werewolf and her husband is a wizard [witch sounds funny for a guy  ] They both love to work out and eat their veggies. They are people of the Earth, meaning they would know how to survive and live off the land around them.

They were both worried their first child Izzy would be a werewolf as well. Luckily for Ismeena, she wasn't born a werewolf she was bitten. There were terrible rumors that babies born with this change had a hard time adjusting to it. They were hoping he would be a wizard like Onyx. But little Izzy was human and still remains so in his teen years.

Now that they have another child, baby Iris, they are seeing sings that she might have magical powers like her father. But only time will tell. What will happen to this family of mystery. Will there be more children in the future? Where will they live? What kind of job will they have? So any options for the Redbirds

Sorry I wasn't able to build you something sweetie, still behind on my angel gifts  But don't you worry. I see a build in your future  *HUGS*

Are you KIDDING me? LOOK AT THEM!!!

Nik, they're perfect! I absolutely can't wait to get them in my game! They're so awesome, and their traits are just right...I don't even know what to say! Thank you SO MUCH!!! *Sniff I'm seriously choking up!

I'm trying to get 2Mahawk's gift play tested and a stupid wild horse keeps getting himself trapped in the casino and crashes my game! I'm ready to strangle his little pixelated neck, and as I'm giving my game time before I start it up again, what do I see? I have a prezzie - and not just any prezzie...EXACTLY what I wanted!

You are the bestest! :D Super-mega hugs!

Now how am I supposed to get back to official Santa business when they're CALLING me?

2Mahawk, I have your prezzie uploaded, but I'm still trying to play test the Showtime aspect of it. If anyone would like to help, here's the link:

    http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=6787413

I tried it set as a live show venue, but everyone went home when it got late. I've uploaded as a "Visitor's Allowed" community lot because I'm crashing (Stupid wild horse is stuck in my game.) and wanted to make sure I didn't lose it. I'm thinking Visitors Allowed should allow sims to stay in the hotel overnite, but I need to make sure you can still book a show with the proprietor. (He's inside, in front of the stage)

I've changed some of the colors, so I made a new cover pic for the slideshow, but I left the rest of the pics, as the set-up is basically the same.

    NewCover.jpg

It's all still on page 246 - I just posted here, too, in case 2Mahawk checks in. I'm going to play test it more tomorrow and you'll have the definitive working version then.

    Gift #2

Hello again, Coretta! I'm really sorry I haven't been posting your gifts, I've been having lots of issues with my internet and game crashing.

I promise I am trying my best to get everything completed for you! Your biggest gift is coming along rather well, but it still needs a lot of work, and I'm sad to say I may not get it delivered until after Christmas. However, I do have some smaller gifts to give you for now, so I'll hope you'll enjoy them while I finish up the bigger one. And I hope both you and Nik won't be upset with me.

You said you'd like to start a legacy, so I thought it would be nice to create a sim for you to do that with. I tried my absolute best to make her asian, but I've never made any asian or korean sims before, so I hope I did ok!

Ivy Mae is a young adult fresh out of college who is ready to take on the world! She is artistic, ambitious, charasmatic, a diva and a workaholic. Her lifetime wish is to be super popular and have 20 friends. Her favourite colour is spiceberry, she is an aquarius, and she enjoys french music and sushi.

    DL link: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=6779291

Sorry for the uncreative photos.. like I said my game's been crashing a lot, so I had to get in and take em' quick. Because of this I didn't get a chance to showcase her outfits, so you'll just have to download her and discover them yourself! She does have a bikini for her swimsuit, so I hope that's ok since you said you don't want your sims exposed.

I hope you like her. More gifts coming soon! Merry Christmas!

She's lovely! Thank you :) I'll have fun with her... now to pick a world to move her into!!

 Whoa! :D That is incredible, Jilly! You managed to pack just about everything I talked about in my letter in this casino! I didn't think it could be done, but you just blew me away! :D

Thank you so very much for doing all this for me!

I'm just in awe of your building skills! I'm actually a fan of yours too. I still haven't forgotten your entry in Ivanna's Castlemania contest. That was an awesome castle you created there. I also admired your builds here. I say you're a top-notch builder, and I'm glad that you're my replacement Santa! :D

As for the lot issues, I think the hotel part could work if it were a big park showtime venue. If I remember correctly, on one of my big park showtime venues, Sims didn't get kicked out of the buildings late into the night, so they should be able to stay the night there if they wanted.

Sorry to hear about those silly horses ruining your game. Actually, I think I can take it over from here. The play testing, that is. The lot looks fantastic as it is, so all I really need to do is get the lot working, and it sounds like it's too big to work on your computer. If somehow it doesn't work, I don't mind it being a "visitor's allowed" lot, and just have musical instruments where the stage was. 8)

About the unowned items, I'm only missing a couple of Bahaus pieces, but don't worry, as I've got more than enough points to purchase them.

Thanks again, and I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas! :D

Oh my gosh! I've been so busy recently, I had forgotten to come here!

I'm really excited that my secret santa was SamanthaJane, Really good friend of mine. I am excited to see what she has created.

Looking glass is absolutely beautiful! I've been after something like this for a really really long time I just couldn't build it myself! Thank you so much, It's perfect! Eeeeee! It looks like you spent forever on just this one house :O

Lakeview Starter - OMG! I really needed starters! I hate the EA ones and I can't stay in the budget to build my own, So this is just absolutely wonderful! I love how you mainly used red for the interior of this house, Over the holidays I've developed this love for the red colour and it's almost as if you knew! O_o These two houses are absolutely stunning and I'm honored that they are for me!

Memories of hidden Spring: Magic -

.... I don't know what to say.. I can't believe you studied my letter this closely and came up with the three items I wanted the most. This is just amazing, I really cannot wait to use these in my game. This has really cheered me up because I've not been well again and you have made me really happy hun. ^____^

All builds are stunning and I love them so so much, EEEE I'm so excited (Don't know if you can tell) All have been rec'd and Fav'd I should get time to use these soon..... OMG I love them so much!

and Thank you for the gift you sent me the other day! I meant to thank you earlier but since you are my santa I thought i'd do it in one go. :D I love you!

(So many spelling mistakes in this. :\ I can't find them. Apologies!)

I'm so glad you like it! When I read your letter, I knew of the things you listed, this was the build I had to make. It's so clever to have all those things in one spot - it never occurred to me!

I didn't think of Big Park Venue - all my performing sims always hang around there once they're done - that might just be the ticket! I'll leave you to it, if you're OK with that. I'm supposed to be studying for a math test I have tomorrow, but I really hate math, so I've been putting it off. (bad Jilly!)

I've been thinking about getting Overwatch to deal with the stuck sim/animal issues for awhile, but lately I've been having an unusual amount. Maybe it's time I stopped dreading my fear of technology and take the plunge! Lol!

That castle! That's so funny that you still remember that! That was by far the biggest thing I ever attempted! I could never play in something that size - could you imagine the search for the bills when a sim laid them down somewhere? Lol! "Knights! I have ye a Quest!" Thank you for remembering!

Sorry about the windows! I tried to keep to your list of owned items - somehow that one slipped right by me!

I'm very relieved that you like it. I was really holding my breath on this one! It has such potential, I was really hoping it would all come together and work right for you. NOW I can say I had a great Christmas. :)

    Enjoy!

Yes, do get overwatch and let it work for you. It is the one mod I keep all the time, though velocity's limited memories mod comes a close second!

Your hotel casino is awesome. I love the way you did all those different windows and got them to look great together!

Overwatch is unsticking upto 15 stuck sims in moonlight falls every day for me right now (including horses, cats and dogs) not to mention removing upto 80+ cars  Lol I read someones post a little while back who was blaming stuck sims and related crash issues on builders using MOO, since only one house in 🐸🐸🐸🐸 is my own build and I'm living in it, I think that rules that theory out  Now if only EA would do their own official overwatch as part of their actual game and clean up their own mess

Ciane, you've been an absolute star through this whole thread, its taken me ages to catch up on most of it but you've been here for every gift with such lovely feedback and support for everyone gifting their creations.

I have had so much fun with the Secret Santa this year! It was my first year, and I admit that I was a tad nervous about it at first. BUT NOW... I will do this EVERY YEAR! Serious fun!!

Also, this thread is exactly what the season should be all about. There's so much love in this thread it makes me want to run through the house yelling "SIMS PEOPLE ARE AWESOME!!" (I might do this later.)

Thanks to EVERYONE who played. I had so much fun reading the stories and seeing all of the FANTASTIC gifts!!

    Hugs to all!!

Lol! I agree 100%! This was my first year, too. Between this and my first 3 Flashmobs, I am completely hooked on the feel-good atmosphere in this forum!

Thanks for the advice on Overwatch. I hear such great things about the Nraas mods, but I tried to look over the MC one once and it all flew right over my head. From what I'm hearing, Overwatch is just a drop in your mods folder and forget about it thing. THIS I can do! Lol!

I've had issues with stuck sims in homes that were built with elevation cheats, but never Moo. There's not many builders who use this anymore, since we got basements. (Lucky for me!)

Lately this just seems to be stray animals more than anything else. I had one house that crashed constantly, and when I was able to bring it to ground level, I found a stray cat under the foundation. I've had horses pop up in at least 3 houses recently, and when I found one in the casino, I couldn't believe it!

Overwatch it is! Thanks for the advice. :)

And I'm glad you like my casino - I had a great time building it, and knowing it was for such an awesome simmer made it that much more special to me.

    From aricarai

I'm so sorry this gift is late, but I really wanted you to have the house that Penelope and Saloma talked about. I remember your letter saying that you liked houses that reminded you of the English countryside. Therefore, I've created Stonewood Cottage for you. It has an English countryside exterior feel, but the inside is all modern - from the furnishings to the open plan layout. There is a conservatory that I created to look like it was a modern add on to a period building.

There are 3 bedrooms (a master, teen, and neutral nursery) and 3 bathrooms and a small backyard.

Please, please, please, let me know if there is anything that you do not have in your game, as I'd like you to enjoy the house to its full potential.

Merry Christmas, samanthajane! Enjoy Stonewood Cottage - Download here!

    Screenshot-1590.jpg

    Screenshot-1592.jpg

There is so much more to see in this house, so please have fun exploring. I tried to stay away from the bright bold colors as I know you don't love them in your builds, so I do apologize if anything glaring has slipped in! :)

Stonewood Cottage costs just under 140,000 simoleons, so Penelope and Saloma may have to save a few more pennies before they can move in, but at least the option is there!
