Of all Worlds (including from the store), which one is the best as far as lag issues?

I knew it was a bad decision to start my household in Bridgeport but still had my reasons. I love several of the premade sims who live there. But now I'm at a point where I have to move the family to another world. No one in the family has passed yet, and I want to move them before that, so I don't get any broken branches in the family tree.

Of all the worlds that EA has come out with, including those in the store, is the best as far as not having bad lag issues?

Sunlit Tides is the best world for everything, in my opinion but I am biased because that is my very favorite world.

Riverview is another world I have never had any problems with, although it's a little boring...but runs like a dream! I don't even get any script errors when I play in that one!

Monte Vista also runs really well for me :)

I've found that Sunset Valley and the store world Hidden Springs both run very smoothly. And this is in spite of my copious amount of mods, so I think this opinion holds some weight. To note, @StephSteb might enjoy Sunlit Tides, but that world is notorious for the lag it causes. Though, to be fair, I always play in Bridgeport.

Edit: Me big dumb and got Sunlit Tides and Isla Paradiso confused. :confounded:

@Emily4331 Are you thinking of Isla Paradiso? Because I don't get much lag at all in Sunlit Tides but it's impossible to play in IP without fixes and mods ?

@StephSteb Oh! Yep! You're right! I am getting them confused. Whoops. Sorry about that! Yeah, I've not played on Sunlit Tides much so no idea if it's laggy. But Isla Paradiso is horrific.

Lol, I thought so. :D It's such a shame that IP is so unplayable :(

I’ve not had any problems with Appaloosa Plains.
I like Bridgeport so it’s a shame about the lagginess. I often build a few bars/clubs/lounges in other worlds. Sometimes I have my Sims get into Mixology, but more often they become celebrities and/or pretty rich, so I have them buy the venues.

Sunset Valley, Riverview, and Twinbrook are considered the best-made EA worlds in terms of performance, with the fewest issues that would cause stuck sims or anything else that would trip up the game engine. Most EA-made worlds run pretty well though. Aside from Isla Paradiso and Bridgeport, the only other world that gets regular complaints is Starlight Shores, and a lot of the trouble is related to the Showtime career performance limos; NRaas Traffic can take care of that.

I've been playing in Dragon Valley for a while now and have only noticed one problem location: the spot outside the bookstore where sims appear when they get out of their cars. They step into the heather and get stuck, but the heather can be deleted. There are also a few lots that lag for a second or two when entering Build or Buy mode; I'm pretty sure that's because the creators used MoveObjects on to place some of the landscaping, since I only see those issues when the landscaping is layered.

I like playing in Appaloosa Plains, but the stray cats, dogs, and horses might cause some lag issues. Also, if you are moving a lot of families there, you may run into housing issues right out of the gate.

I am currently playing a Simselves game in Appaloosa Plains, where I introduced 32 Sims between simselves from folks on the forums and other Sims they have created. I ran into a housing shortage and had to move several townies out of town (evicted them to the clipboard and return to the game without placing them).

When my Forsythe Legacy Family Challenge game in Sunset Valley crashed after about 4 generations, I used the Porter mod to move them to Glenvale County by @Rflong7
I brought all of the tombstones of the deceased along and still have my complete family tree at the 9th generation. So if someone does die before you move them, just take the tombstone with you to the new world.
