Could not think of a decent title, my brain lacks in that department.XD

Finally got my game up and running, had to use reshade to get rid of jagged edges, must say since
resetting my Pc, MY GAME is running much faster.So got my new sims set up and a rewrite of an old story.


Samantha(on phone) I'm sorry, Elizabeth, I'm afraid we don't
have any openings available, but we'll call you.
Elizabeth hung up the phone, and frowned. Finding a job in Alpine County
was proving to be quite a difficult task, it was a city mostly for the rich
and famous, and she was neither.


Elizabeth dragged herself over to the park bench, and plopped down,
letting out a sigh of disappointment. Perhaps, sulking into a good book
might lighten up her mood.Until the weather decided to be difficult. She
packed up her belongings and jumped into her old car.


The drive home from the city proved to be quite lonely.She tapped
along to her favorite music, holding back tears. Thankfully, the house
her mother left her was paid off, but other necessities she struggled
to get,


Elizabeth: I just want today to be over with.
She slammed the car door shut, dragging her feet up the stairs.
And into her bedroom.She didn't even both to get dressed, just
jumped into bed and drifted off to sleepland.


Elizabeth: Ugh, I can't sleep.Maybe a drink at the tavern.
She grabbed her keys off the tabled, hopped back into her
van, and headed for her favorite watering hole.Sitting at the bar,
Elizabeth noticed a group of people hovering around the door,
the sound of cameras and chatter filled the bar.


Elizabeth(to herself): Oh...seems like another hot shot celebritiy.
She rolled her eyes and went back to drinking her drink. Indeed,
it was a celebrity, by the name of Derek Thomson, one of the biggest
film stars in Alpine County.Elizabeth decided it was time to head out, before
the paparazzi's get there.She grabbed her bag and got up to leave, being the
clumsy gal she was, she lost her balance and slipped, her drink went flying...
covering Derek's face in pina colada.


Elizabeth: Oh gosh. I'm so sorry, let me grab some napkins.
Derek: Are you serious?! Look at the mess you just caused, I'm
covered in your drink.How clumsy are you?
Elizabeth: I said I was sorry, It was an accident, chill out.
Derek: It's obvious, you don't know who I am. You're such a clutz.


Elizabeth: You have some bad manners.
Derek: What did you just say to me?!
Elizabeth: Stop shouting, you're making a spectacle of yourself.
Derek: As if...The only spectacle is you, after such a mess you made.
Elizabeth: Keep barking, its not very becoming.I said I was sorry, I'm out
of here.Elizabeth pushed her way past Derek, who was still trying to get
the pina colada off of him.Of course, the paparazzi saw everything, a few
of them were already jotting down notes.


Kevin: Well aren't you charming, you made yourself look like a fool
in front of everyone.And now I'm gonna have to clean up your mess.
Kevin was Derek's agent, and followed him around like a lost puppy.
Derek: Shut it, Kevin.She's the one who...
Kevin: Stop shouting, you're making a scene...So now you got all these
new-happy reporters writing a story about how you chased out a young
lady with your bad temper.
Derek: So what do you want me to do?!
Kevin: Apologize to her.Even if you don't mean it,
It will make you look good, in fact, invite her to the movie studio.
Paparazzi will get a kick out of that, will forget your whole episode,
and you'll look good.


Derek: As if I'd apologize to her...
Kevin: It's either that or you get disgraced.Your choice.
Derek sighed, as much as he didn't want to admit it, Kevin
was right, the paparazzi wouldn't let him live it down, if he didn't.


Derek: Excuse me, wait a minute.
Elizabeth: Are you not done shaming me? Didn't have enough?
Derek: I came to apologize, but if you're gonna get snippy..
Elizabeth: I have every right to be snippy...the way you treated me.
Derek: Yes, you're right, I'm sorry, I lost my temper.I know it was an
accident.Let me make it up to you.


Derek: Come on down to the studio for a backstage tour, I'll
get the security to let you in.
Elizabeth: I guess that might be interesting, I drive by all the time.
Derek: Good, just bring an ID with you.What's your name? I'll tell the
security team I'm expecting you.
Elizabeth: My name's Elizabeth.
Derek: When you arrive, just tell them Derek is expecting you.
Elizabeth: Okay, great. Thanks!
Elizabeth said her goodbyes and headed home.After that little episode,
she was ready to turn in for the night.

Elizabeth pulled into the movie studios, just as the sky decided to open up on her.
She showed the guard her ID and stated Derek was expecting her.He ushered her into the
lot, and guided over to Derek and Kevin.
Kevin: Good, you're here.Come on in, we're about to film a scene for the up coming
movie.


After the studio tour, Derek was ready to go his seperate ways,
but Kevin suggested he invite the young lady to the country club
for a drink.


Derek: Do you like Pina Coladas?
Elizabeth: Is that some sort of musical reference?
Derek chuckled.
Derek: No, I'm really asking.Do you want one? Is that
phrased better?
Elizabeth: Oh..Ha!, Sure, I'll have one.


Derek: So what do you do for work? Derek asked trying to make
small conversation, knowing the paparazzi could be around.
Elizabeth: Currently? Nothing...I'm out of work at the moment.
I blog in my free time though.
Derek: Oh...Sorry.
Derek said, feeling sorry for the young lady.She just shrugged it off.
It it what it is. She was used to. And she was used to being pitied.


Kevin: Sorry to cut things short, but got a call from the studio,
they need to do a reshoot.We'll give you a ride home, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: Thanks!

Since being out of work, Elizabeth picked up on some new hobbies.
Including jogging, after having a quick breakfast, she hopped into her
work out clothes and headed for the beach, when a familiar face called.
Derek: Hey you.
Elizabeth: Surprised to see you here..Where's
your little minion?
Derek: My what? Oh...Kevin...I sneaked out.
Elizabeth: No cameras following you?
Derek: You think my life is all glam and cameras?
Elizabeth: Pretty Much.


Derek; Race me to the diner, if I win you owe me a drink.
Elzabeth: Fine, but you aren't gonna win.
Derek: We'll see about that.


Derek managed to beat Elizabeth to the diner, meaning she owed
him a drink.


Elizabeth: Your life isn't all glamor and ritz?
Elizabeth said as she rolled her eyes.


Derek invited Elizabeth to his favorite hang out spot, usually the
cameras don't find him there.


Tonight, they somehow managed to find him.Derek gave a customer
one last autograph for the night.He grabbed Elizabeth's hand and dragged
her out of there, both running from the annoying paparazzi.They ended back
at Elizabeth's house.
Derek: Think we lost them.Here give me your phone for a second.
Elizabeth: No.Why do you need that?
Derek: Just let me see it, sheesh.


Elizabeth: What are you doing?
Derek: I gave you my number and took your numbwr.
See ya.
Elizabeth: Why?
But he left without answering her question.She rolled her eyes
and headed to bed.

"Finally, I got a job." Elizabeth sighed as she scurried along the beach.
Tomorrow she would start as a life guard, it's not a dream career, but
at least she'd be helping people and earning money to get by.


"I think I earned myself a decent meal" She hopped into her
car and rushed home to get dressed. She decided to treat herself
to a meal at the Jazz Club, normally out of her reach, but with a new
job, a one time thing would be okay.


"Are you waiting for someone? Or may I join you?" A familiar voice
sounded from behind her.Elizabeth whirled around to see Derek standing
there.
Elizabeth: No, I'm not waiting for anyone, please sit.


Derek: Thank you, out by yourself tonight?
Elizabeth: Yeah, figured a night out would be good.
What about you? What are you doing here?
Derek: After party for the premier of a new movie.
Elizabeth: I wouldn't know anything about that..
Derek: We might have to change that..Would you like to dance?
Elizabeth: Of course


Elizabeth: Looks like the cameras are on you again.
Elizabeth commented, pointing to the cameras behind her.
Derek: They aren't on me tonight.
Elizabeth: Oh? Then who are they on? Who else is her?

Elizabeth: Me? Why on earth would they be on me.
Derek: They're wondering who this beautiful girl is dancing with me.
Elizabeth: Flatterer.
Derek winks and chuckles at Elizabeth's comment.


Elizabeth: Thank you for the ride home.

get better for you, especially someone as lovely as you.

Elizabeth: I'm so glad you made time to see me, how's life? Tell me about
your family.I haven't seen them in a while.You been good, busier than ever, we small
talk, work and the weather.


Elizabeth: I go back to December all the time.It turns out freedom ain't nothing
but missing you, wishing I knew what I had when you were mine, I'd go back to December
all the time.

Derek: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. You like singing?
Elizabeth: Don't judge me.
Derek: I'm not judging, just asking...You sing well...

Elizabeth was busy making floral arrangements for her friend's wedding.
When someone knocked on the garage door.


Derek: Can I come in?


Elizabeth: Oh? Didn't expect to see you...
Derek: Just a reminder to please meet me at the park..
Elizabeth: Did you get a haircut?
Derek: Don't judge...Kevin made me do it for a new film/
Elizabeth: It actually looks good, don't get so defensive.
Derek: Maybe I'll keep it this way.

Elizabeth was confused.What did he mean "Go on"?

Derek: I got you a chance to show off your talent..

get that chance, maker!
Elizabeth: I can't do this.

Elizabeth: I can almost see it, that dream I'm dreaming, but there's

I'm making, feels lost with no direction, my faith is shaken.But I...I gotta keep trying, keep

They sat there in silence for a few moments studying each other.
Derek pulled Elizabeth a little bit closer.

Derek invited Elizabeth on a trip to Starlight Shores, his next movie
was filming there, he also had put in a good word for Elizabeth to
perform at a venue.


Elizabeth: Your vacation home is beautiful!
Derek: Glad you like it, I have something to tell you.
Elizabeth: What is it?

again?
Elizabeth: You what?! I told you, I don't want to do that.

Derek said as he attempted to make a drink, it didn't turn out so well.
Peter: Clearly not.
Derek: What's that suppose to mean?
Peter: I mean about that gal....we can drop the act now, you cleared
your name of any wrong doing you know.
Derek: You're point?
Peter: You don't need her anymore...we can ditch her.
Derek: That wouldn't be very nice...now don't bring that up again.


Peter: I will have to figure out a way to get rid of her.
Peter spent the next few hours in solitude, contemplating on how
he could get rid of Elizabeth.Until it was time to go to Derek's autograph
signing.


A huge crowd showed up for Derek's autographs, he was so
busy signing and taking photos, that Elizabeth got pushed to the
side.She spent a few moments watching the action, then decided
to go for a stroll.


After the signing, Derek tried to reunite with Elizabeth, but he
wasn't able to spot her through the crowds.He managed to catch
a glimpse of her heading to the night club.
Derek: Hey! Wait up.


Derek: Oh, your fast.
Elizabeth: Oh, I figured you were busy with autographs, that
I'd come visit the bar.
Derek: I would have came with you, you should have waited.
Elizabeth: That's okay.


Elizabeth: Yeah, I know, but I also wanted to get out of the cameras
I'm tired of them taking photos of me, its really annoying.
Derek: Unfortunately, I can't do anything about that, if you're
hanging out with me, your gonna be in the limelight. That's just
how it is.
Elizabeth: Well, its rather annoying, no privacy!
Derek: If it really bothers you that much, then maybe
we shouldn't hang out.

Elizabeth stormed off and headed back to the vacation home.

Peter: Not sure...but you both better get going soon, you'll miss your reservation.

Elizabeth: oh? Where's Derek, we were suppose to go to the park.
Peter: He's on a date with his new co-star.

Elizabeth went to the coffeehouse and did a little sidewalk singing.
The proprietor took notice and offered her a gig that very nice. Normally
she wouldn't accept it, but decided it might be fun.

in going to the studio with me.
Elizabeth: No...not tonight, I got plans.
Derek: What sort of plans?
Elizabeth: I'm going to sing at the coffee house tonight.

Elizabeth: Owner offered me a spot tonight, and I accepted.

Elizabeth decided to take a stroll in the historical shopping district.
She stopped by the ice cream stand to grab one of her favorite ice creams.

She turned around to find Derek standing behind her.
How does he do that?! He always manages to sneak up behind her.

Amber: Derek, darling, we should get going. We have a meet and
greet at the theater in 2 hours.

Derek's autograph session was a huge success. Elizabeth stopped by
just to watch, He tried to make his way over to her, but she was preoccupied
with someone else.


Henry: I saw you last night at the venue! You were great! I'm a huge
fan.And might I say, very pretty!
Elizabeth: Well, thank you! Might I get a picture with my big fan?
Henry: Seriously?! You don't have to ask! I should ask!

Derek: Hey, I know we were suppose to go out, but Peter booked

chatting with the other sims.
