Something i noticed is that people have been shouting at me and booing and taunting my Sim, with speech bubbles showing my Sim and a cross over it. One thing is that I joined the Musical career and only a lvl 2 at it. Is it because of a bug or the music career?
I am NOT part of anything in EA and I'm just a player. I try my best to answer questions in the Sims forums, and showing info about the Sims, even posting answers and thoughts of feedback! I have been playing the Sims 4 for 2 years.

He does not. They either cheer next to him with a happy face speech bubble, or be rude and show a cross.
My Sims 3 Pictures
I don't have Late Night installed, which is very weird.
TS4 Sims in TS3
Only the base game, sorry for not saying it earlier.
Maybe there's something making its rounds through the grapevine about your sim which you are unaware of. Maybe your sim did or said something inside one of those rabbit-hole buildings which is getting them negatively talked about. Or maybe another sim has spread a lie about them which is gaining traction. Who knows?
While all of the heckling can be stopped with a mod, I choose to use a different method to resolve the issue. I simply have my sim just talk to the heckling sim and raise their relationship standing. I find by doing that the (heckling) sim changes their opinion of my sim and soon whenever they meet, my sim is met with the thumbs-up animation and the little smiley face next to their image.
I have a teenage female sim whose mother didn't like the guy she was dating so she asked her daughter to 'break up' with him. The girl agreed and they were instantly broken up. Because of this, the only person who gets booed is the mother whenever the ex-guy sees her. However, the daughter still has the 'cheaters' reputation which doesn't seem to be causing her any social harm.
Just a single one Sim. Never did any romance.
1). Maybe your townies just enjoy heckling. Or, and I hate to suggest this but,
2). Maybe the townies just naturally dislike your sim. Although that seems very highly unlikely to me.
BTW, if your game is fully updated you don't need to have the expansion packs installed to get certain interactions as some came active for all players in an update.
Maybe. I deleted that Sim. Could be something very hidden to the Music career as it started happening after he joined it.
Not sure if you saw this thread, but has some other reasons why it might happen.

I'm against reddit. Too adult'ish.
Here's what someone said on there, I don't see anything inappropriate on this thread, but I also don't browse other parts of reddit. So Idk what the rest of the site is.But might be the problem?

Had your Sim possibly achieved the 'celebrity' refinement which came with the base game? It's the one which is tied to the charisma skill (not the Late Night celebrity system). Or, did they play an instrument to crowds of Sims who were then added to their relationship panel?
Just trying to understand.
I know. But it's something that I can't understand either. Some weird feature in the game.
Some sims will boo your sim if they are... nekkid. I do not know if there is any trait involved with that behavior or not.
I have noticed within the past few years, non played Sims will go out of their way to boo/heckle my Sims. There doesn't appear to be any reason for this. None of my Sims have evil or any other bad traits. They have not done anything foul in public either. Maybe this behavior came in through one of the last updates?
In the past (before Late Night or Showtime) it was only Sims who were public figures which the cheering or booing would happen to, such as those who were employed in the Music, Sports or Political careers. As I stated earlier, there is a celebrity system in the base game via the charisma refining challenges. Although this celebrity system isn't as refined or fleshed out as the one which came with Late Night, it does create public response. Keeping your Sim's relationship healthy with the public is one way to put a stop to the booing.
For some reason, when creating and developing this game, the Sims Team chose to put emphasis on 'creating drama' and nothing stirs up more drama than some negative controversy of some kind; although the player won't know what that drama is, the Sims will and may respond to it.
Since you mentioned you don't have Showtime installed then it's just one of the annoying reaction idles the game has. Luckily those don't have an affect on the sims mood just try to ignore it.
Okay actually I'm totally and completely nuts LOL
