My oldest save is about 3 years old. I started it just before Island Living came out. I'm still playing it now, although I've had to recover it a few times over the years. It's still the same save file and household, but had to use backups a couple of times. But it's still the same household and save file.
My favorite save is the one in my signature. I've been playing it since April, so it's not very old but it has a hold on me. I really enjoy playing it and sharing it with everyone. I'm amazed and flattered that people keep popping into the thread I have for it and saying how much they're enjoying it too. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a wonderful story.
The newest iteration of my Cantrell save is still going strong, despite the last few patches. Yay! Once I found out that playing with a broken Road to Fame mod wouldn't actually glitch the save, I've got it in place anyway. Waiting ever so patiently for it to be updated. In the meantime, I'm having a blast!
My favorite Sims 4 save is the first one I started when the game came out. I rarely actually play it, since I'm usually building, but it still counts. PS Johnny Zest is awesome.
Since I started to really play Sims 4, which was about a year ago. I probably will continue to play it until Sims 5 comes out, or longer.. I don't generally play multiple saves, except for testing things out, trying out a new pack and that sort of thing.

It's a recent save I started with the scenarios I play but I ended up loving one of the families I created and played. Once I completed the scenario I just kept playing them. I can't stop I just have so many plans for them and their future.
I got my sims 4 for Christmas the year the game came out, and have been playing that main rotational save that long adding additional characters with most packs, and including some basegame and other pack characters on and off as well. I do have a new scenario rotational save which I have been enjoying as well. I started that one when scenarios came out. I just couldn’t get into legacy’s, though I may end up incorporating my 2 old legacy save characters into my scenario rotation. I changed laptops about 2017 I think, but brought my main save along at the time.
