I play both sims 3 and 4 but the Sims 4 has obvious lines in the adult stage that you can see on the sims. However the Sims 3, I can't really see anything in particular and just looks like a young adult Sim. Can someone tell me the specific cosmetics between these lifestages?
I am NOT part of anything in EA and I'm just a player. I try my best to answer questions in the Sims forums, and showing info about the Sims, even posting answers and thoughts of feedback! I have been playing the Sims 4 for 2 years.

I'm all ears😃
Sometimes it's not me who talks to you, it's machine translation
Plus a few wrinkles here and there, but nothing major visually!
To illustrate just one example, here's a generated Bridgeport bouncer with most of his sliders not too far from their default positions. I drew the mouth slider to its lower extreme position in order to show what that one does.
Note how the mouth sagged downward in the full adult sim, and the philtrum (the cleft in the middle area of the upper lip) became very prominent.
That's one of the pitfalls if you create your sims as YA's. In YA's, the mouth height slider does almost nothing, whereas it has pronounced effects on the head models of teens, full adults and elders.
Thanks.
I know the "age details". What I'm saying is that what if the Simn doesn't have any? Like Nick Alto. I get confused with him.
I do agree that Nick Alto is a little confusing considering that he doesn't look that old, especially when you compare how he looks to Vita. However, considering there are actual adults who look younger than they are you can just reason that Nick is one of them.
Other than that and the aforementioned differences from other users, there really isn't that much a difference.
