1945: The War has ended! George returned home, but David died. Also, following the War, Annaliese met a Polish immigrant who was with Peter in a Concentration Camp. He died sometime in 1943.
1953: The remaining pieces of the Van Cortlandt have been given to Betty. They are earrings, a brooch and a ring. The earrings, necklace and brooch. The Ring.
