Why not also incorporate the following geriatric care homes and content choices for their sims in their elder years. In-Home Care. In home health care can be a great option for those who wish to stay in the comfort of their own home. ...

    Another thought is also Sims choosing between going with anti-aging related covering up the outward appearances evidence of gradual aging process with skin care from middle age crisis and beyond due to superficial gradually increasing age related concerns and/or using proaging skin care cosmetic products that show how the sims are gradually developing acceptance of the outward appearances evidence of gradual aging process.

    What in the world..OMG..this list is insane. This is the Sims we are talking about right? That list is a whole new game all to itself and way to realistic as far as some of the careers and life stages go for a Sims style game. That might fit better in something like Para Lives. I am not sure I want a Sim in Hospice care or crippled with disabilities and all that. And before any one starts accusing me of being insensitive to the Disabled..I myself am disabled with a spine condition from birth and can not walk well and will be in a wheelchair the rest of my life. I play the Sims to get away from IRL problems and this is just to hard core reality for a game. I came on this thread thinking to suggest something like a normal sized telescope for my sims science lab and more robot creating stuff, actual water activities for the beach and things like that. I was floored reading the above post. I wish You luck on Your wish for all that.. I really do..everyone has there own style of play and what they like in a game...I think your hoping for a bit much for that to be added in a Sims game though.

    One problem with paralives I did this sort of suggestion and there were paralives potential fans that thought it was selfish to request this of the paralives game design studios since it is a small game design studios in comparison/contrast to the Electronic Arts and Sims franchise Studios. So they thought it would fit better with Sims 4 and/or possibly upcoming Sims 5 computer games rather than Paralives. However either way to me it doesn't necessarily would seem to different for either games because to life simulation games such as Sims computer games and/or Paralives is to be as optional realistic as possible where they can but still manage to mix in optional unrealistic as possible at the same time all depending upon the Sims /Paralives computer games players personal gameplay choices.

    Another thing is that you say that you think that I am expecting to much out of Sims well it seems to me that when it spends so much energy on extremely content filled expansion packs, stuff packs, gameplay packs such as you had described (https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/packs) you would expect the same amount of energy and time spent on designing content packs on the stuff that I had described although the genetics/variation/speciation/race diversity/evolution of various linean categorical tier levels of overall full races and species and various linean categorical tier levels of sub races of cult sims and even content involving geriatrics/elderly portions of life stages and geriatric care and quality of life related content, gameplay, and careers, and along with the wedding content their is completely lack of traditions of yearly wedding anniversary gifts. Plus Sims could do more with levels of government, business leadership career hierarchy, politics/governing leadership career hierarchy, tier levels of the real life overall individual people/family/community/nations/future inhabited worlds and so on wealth gap. it is kind of disappointing to see the amount content, gameplay, and careers lacking. For example in stuff content for the elderly all that sims 2, 3, and for now sims 4 was largely giving them besides the elder related clothing as such was three types of canes/geriatric walking sticks. When in fact in real life there is far more items for elderly/geriatric quality of life and elderly/geriatric care and their are a number of options/choices for elderly/geriatric care homes.     I like so many of the ideas on your list. Definitely a lot to be inspired by and hope for, but I do agree with @spend4zen that I play to escape and have fun, so there are some things you mentioned here that I really wouldn't want in the game, like palliative care for elder Sims, gradual onset Alzheimer's, etc ... and some things seem too realistic like hand and feet wrinkles and stretchmarks. How would you even be able to see those on the Sim's little arms and legs? I would prefer body hair and scars and more tattoos instead for appearance additions. Really interesting list though. Some realism can be very fun in the game as long as it's light-hearted and not touching on things very serious that people struggle with and play to escape from. I would like more banking and careers and I like your occult species/evolution ideas and I would love anniversary gifts for married couples or other similar family tradition type gameplay. And I really like the idea of gradually turning Sims into hybrid occults with technology. I think there is a robot arm in the game, but it would be fun if we could turn the Sim into an eternal half-human half robot with robotics inventions.

Sure I admit that there are simmers that want to use Sims to escape realism of gradual aging process and other aspects of real life while there are those who don't want to escape but rather cope and adjust with real life by instead bringing it into sims also. So why not allow it be official EA Sims franchise gameplay options for simmers that they can turn on and turn off through check boxes (checking and in checking the boxes) why does it have to be that those who don't want to play with so much realism/realistic gameplay within sims keep those who do want to play with realism/realistic gameplay within Sims from being able to do so. And sure there are unofficial mods that could bring some of that in as I had mentioned however they don't necessarily work as well than if EA Sims official franchise game designers officially brought it in themselves an example is the Simsrealist mods Private practice mods.

Just specifically research online as much as you can what the modders have officially managed to do unofficially and you might be surprised what officially could be done if official EA Sims franchise game designers and programmers put their minds to it.

    We have asked for that for years and once got a big explanation about why it could not be done in a pc game and open ended like Sims is. Something about needing a massive super computer, They even said with that type of pc it would still be virtually impossible to synch up all the things sims do together as every height has it's own set of movements for everything - plus on each sim that programming for all stages has to be on every sim - never mind the clothing is another issue as attachment to meshes can either be attached to stretch vertically or attach to stretch horizontally but can not be made to go in both direction - so if you have various height sims that slowly changed it would not work with changeable clothing. Ben Bell gave a long speech on it on a an 8 or 9 part You tube presentation before Sims 3 came out.

    And the simmers boxing and martial arts styles fitness work out training and skill acquiring should be incorporated into sims fights in order to allow considerable diversity in the fights and that the boxing and martial arts styles sparring matches wouldn't be the only use for the skills since the fights could be gameplay optionally covered by fighting dust cloud vanilla Sims fighting and/or not covered by fighting dust clouds not vanilla Sims fighting with considerable diversity in fighting styles.
