I had one of my Sims marry the Grim Reaper & now they have a lot of kids.
Also there has been a thread on Twitter by a game journalist (I think) and some of the comments are by ppl that said they used to work in qa on the sims and some have talked about their experience. One of them said that ea would go through qa employees more than they have ever seen. And apparently a lot of their employees are not permanent either. Yeah so the qa team seems to not be treated well (which is not something new in the game industry either).
To find the thread I'm talking about, the sims community also quote retweeted that thread not that long ago so you can probably find it on their Twitter page.
I'm not sure what we as consumers can do to stop this, I think the best we can do is show support to the people who are not prioritizing profit and be grateful when things are going towards development and improvements.
So if you are reading this Maxis, thank you for the laundry lists and the patches, but I'm sorry that you have to spend time doing them after release.
