So far, this is what I have finished for Tartosa. Because building can be so time consuming and I'm ready to start playing, I've copied a mansion build from another world and moved it here with a little remodel to the inside and out. Several of the Oasis residential builds done by the TS4 team are perfect for this world; did a remodel of the inside for those to accommodate families with 7 to 8 Sims.
I got rid of the rental lot because my Sims go on vacation in the vacation worlds; so, that will be a residential lot. I definitely want a lot of Sims living in this world. I enjoy seeing only the Sims I've created walking around town--this is one of the reasons I enjoy playing the Sims 4.
I want to move my bakery business here. I'm either going to place the bakery on the beach lot or that island lot. Has anyone placed a business on either of those lots and how is the outside foot traffic? I'm more inclined to go for the beach lot for my bakery because it is close to town and I like seeing Sims walking about town. If I have my Sim live on that island lot (Piccola Luce which is 20 x 20), she'll definitely be using her bike to get around instead of walking.
I first got my Eric & Ariel sims with their Palace from my Medieval game save now living in Tartosa.
My Jasmine & Aladdin sims with their Oasis Desert Palace from my Ancient game save moved to Tartosa.
I made some Alien/Spellcaster Space Pirates living from my Futuristic game save living in Tartosa.
I made a new Cave Home in Tartosa for my single cavewoman sim from my Prehistoric game save.
I finally made my own Cordelia & Rodrigo with a French Galley/Queen Anne home in Tartosa from Georgian game save.
I also, just finished building my 1st Villa & working on making my 2nd Villa for my Roaring 20s to Awesome 80s game save.

Busy, busy.
Your Tartosa save sounds awesome. I've never even thought of making prehistoric cave Sims lol. I will have to try this.
This was a feature I was hoping would make it into My Wedding Stories but sadly it didn't. I don't want my Sims to have to always travel to Tartosa to plan their wedding attire, so I enabled it for mannequins. So now you can have proper wedding boutiques!
Oh, my goodness!!! That is too cute!! 😲 A bummer that this wasn’t in the pack! I would love to see if this would be patched in someday! (If not, I may be willing to use a mod for it, once the rest of the wedding stuff gets properly fixed.)
I would have liked to see the negative outcomes of asking for a blessing in the game. Weddings and relationships can be messy, it would have been a good thing to see that in the pack as well.
currently playing on the Werewolf patch from June 14 2022
I LOVE slow dancing. Though I still wish we had a few variations I like how casual it is and it's just really nice to have sims be able to dance not having their backs to each other lol.
It's winter. The outside world looks cold and bleak through boarded up windows
But inside is filled with warmth, laughter and dancing
I'm thinking of doing a test wedding this week when I have more play time. I'm so curious to see what these wedings are all about. When people complain about bugs and glitches I usually manage to work things out pretty well.
But my main couple are not ready yet. I like to slow build relationships over a long period of time.
I will document the test wedding and share if I decide to do it lol.
@Babykittyjade
Testing is always time consuming whether one is testing a build or looking to see if broken cc or mods is causing an error. Although I play offline now while only going online once in a while to check for updates, I don't have to worry about constantly deleting the Cache Files anymore.
You may want to wait for the patch release before doing your wedding test. 😂
Being that I only need one wedding venue, I'm going to have to decide what to do with Central Park in Myshuno Meadows. I really don't know what to build there since it has been my go to place for weddings--decisions, decisions.
Actually I want to test on the broken wedding. After hearing so many cries about it I just have to test it out for myself. I want to see if the problems are exaggerated or it's literally "unplayable" as people say. 😂😂
Dine out for example works perfectly fine. I eat at restaurants all the time. I'm a micromanager naturally so we shall find out. I finally have everything set up for the wedding I'm just waiting until I have free time to play without interruption.
Worse case scenario if it turns out to be a disaster they can divorce and marry again with the patched wedding lol.
Yeah, Dine Out works out fine (for the most part, just a little time consuming depending on what sims are doing) for me as well.
As for this new pack, though…
Based on multiple videos, there is a combination of some stuff being broken and some bugs, and other stuff may be needing some re-tuning.
Some parts are not working like the officiant, and some stuff seems to need some adjustments, like the topper off cakes and using certain tables for cutting, cakes spoil too easily, delays in flower pal working, etc, and others may be either bugs or may need some tuning or maybe fix priorities (like once guests sit down, they won’t seem to do anything else, sims don’t gather or watch when you need them to, etc).
I feel, seeing how the Carl’s mod works, that a lot of this can be fixed and maybe re-tuned a bit.
One video had an officiant disappear, and multiple videos had officiant never coming to the arch to officiate anything, so, from what I saw the officiant part is definitely one pretty broken aspect, for sure. There is also the whole nobody wears what you give them and the cake is kind of easy to spoil, so those may need some re-tuning or some kind of readjustment.
Just letting you know what you may be in for, @Babykittyjade , hehe. 😄 Just be prepared for some sims to stay sitting and not watch or perform certain aspects, and the officiant not doing their job at all, lol.
Oh, and be careful of the short wedding cake time, too! I think there are some workarounds some simmers have mentioned in a couple of threads around this forum that could help. 👍
I think Carl’s mod fixes some aspects, but not all of it and I think it’s still being worked on.
The laundry list has a lot of good stuff, but I hope the future patches add a bit more like fixing the officiant, making guest sims dress up accordingly and making those sims watch important aspects, and re-adjusting the cake stuff.
I feel hope that the laundry list does allow both sims to invite folks, since a wedding should allow a lot of folks to be invited as weddings are about two families being connected.
I’ve been really wanting this pack, and I’m still excited about it.
@simgirl1010 as per your signature today I am definitely smiling. Just got a call two of my granddaughters from another province will be visiting me today. Been a very long time.

@Bluegayle that's wonderful! I'm blessed to be able to see and babysit my 2 year old twin granddaughters 3 days a week. And a 3rd granddaughter on the way.
Enjoy your visit. 😊
Ohh... those were fun! I am currently building a lot and it will be many months in real life until my next sim will be old enough to marry but I was happy to read about the different sentiments.

After doing a little bit every day while testing things out, it is nice to be finally finished.
My completed world.
Here's Maliah who lives on the little beautiful island in Tartosa. My plan is to enroll her in University and then she'll take over her parents' bakery which I decided to keep in Windenburg. I gave the bakery a make-over in the spirit of My Wedding Stories.
Although Maliah just met Atticus Traus, I see a bright future for them.
Atticus Traus is a chef and connected to my other family. Maliah is best friends with Atticus' sister-in-law, Bella Traus.
Maliah's parents are Earl and Aileen Wetzel who live on the beach in Tartosa.
Families of Tartosa.
When a new pack is released that fits my playstyle, I'm eager to get everything set-up. Having the new world of Tartosa and filling it with families is a plus.
Here are the fixes in today's patch specific to MWS.
My Wedding Stories
Ceremony interactions are now available when doing a Vow Renewal or Reception at another Sim’s home.
Sims should now show up in their appropriate attire for Wedding Ceremonies
Vow Renewal is now only available to Married Sims, and Wedding Ceremony is only available to Engaged Sims.
Although I don't have anyone whose ready to be married at present, the gradual patch fixes are appreciated. I've been doing several family gatherings and those have been going well. Blink was in my test save; but, I liked her so much that I decided to have her be Maliah's pet. When it rains in Tartosa and Blink wants to walk, I always visit various worlds to take her on doggie strolls. I find that walking Blink is a great way to see different areas of Tartosa.
Decided to have Maliah and her parents switch homes because beach life suits her and Blink. Plus, I needed a bigger lot so that when Maliah has her 15 friends over for parties there is plenty of room.
Maliah is busy with college but she always makes time for her little Blink. After reading about the Fresh Chef (an Aspiration Reward Trait) in this thread, I'm going to have Maliah attain that before taking over her parents' bakery.
I enjoy checking on Blink to see where she autonomously goes around the world of Tartosa. Today Blink decided to sleep near the bench that is across from the heart shaped statue.
Im not someone who arranges a lot of weddings but I love the content in this pack! I love the new cakes and flower bouguets. Those alone already made it worth for me because most my sims household has someone who maxes baking and cooking skills. Its quite great that sims can hold the flower bouguet in their hand and thats also very welcomed addon to my florist shop products. The wedding cakes were many and so pretty, great addons to my bakery. Love love love! And the new wolrd Tartosa, loving it too.
